I can confirm as a biker that you can steer while applying throttle. But I'd say the reason for that little quirk in BeamNG is because a lot of bike steering is leaning your body, which I presume isn't being simulated. Pretty solid mod actually considering the limitations
Just a clarification, yes application of throttle does right the bike again, but you don't need to go off throttle in order to steer is what I'm implying. What Niel was trying to do in video however, stuff like lane changes and high speed corners do not need any throttle removal whatsoever
What do you ride? I’ve ridden baggers as my experience and most of my steering is countersteering while keeping my body either neutral with the bike or just upright while the bike leans over
Whenever I turn with throttle on mine I end up accidentally pulling it down and my bike just goes. So now I always hold the clutch in a bit too much. Saying that, I’ve only been on it for 3 hours. Any tips on how to do corners better?

@@rhombus2490 go to a car park and try to find the limit of falling over or how far you can lean and so on, you'll always be fearful getting on a new bike when your brain is wired to think like your previous one or if you're new to biking. Once you start feeling comfortable with the limitations as far as maneuverability goes, start doing the standard things you should when riding and you'll get comfortable without even noticing. always look as far ahead as possible, your head and eyes are the steering wheel.
That's just my advice on dealing with a new bike
@@manpalbajwa4394 sorry i misread your comment. Neutral riding is mainly for cruisers. This is because they weigh so much that a small lean angle puts enough weight to one side of the centre of gravity to counter the centrifugal forces in the corner. This, however, is not so on smaller bikes. Small bikes like my CB125F have narrow tyres and you can't lean the bike as much. Because it is so light I ordinarily counterlean and use my foot as ballast like a Supermoto or dirt bike rider. With my CB500F I have nice, wide sports tyres. This allows for MUCH higher cornering speed and you'll generally find yourself leaning in much more in tight corners. I however can't give the best advice with my experience on it however because I actually haven't unlocked its full potential yet, I don't know how far it can go before I run out of tyre so I've rarely leaned that far. Attempting knee down at the speeds it's currently able to manage with its very worn clutch (previous owner) just leaves the whole ass bike as neutral and my body does enough, which is pointless, because the whole point of leaning your body is that you do it when your bike won't lean any further.
Sorry i hope that wasn't too much. I'll say right now also that I am NOT a veteran but I do study physics so I do understand some of this

Now we just need a proper human leaning to turn the bike with the wheel also turning. Just easy realistic bikes in beamng would be really cool. Just more kinds of physics for better planes, boats, bikes, etc… although perhaps the simulation for the bike is realistic.

You are correct. As soon as I heard “Paid mod” I just thought oh so the mod creator is money hungry especially considering this ain’t worth it. I’ll admit it, I wanna drive a motorcycle with a dummy in BeamNG, but:
A paid mod I expect more than 3 variations and it better crash damn perfectly no spikes or texture glitches which this doesn’t. There are mods on the repository I can download with a simple click with 50x the variations from a shitbox to a flying drag version and they will crash properly. I mean, what is it about this mod that deserves a payment?
The guy doesn't even have any history with modding from what I can find, so why should I trust him? Ok, it took 150 hours. But other modders take longer and don't charge money. Seems like a cashgrab to me, same situation as the GMC Sierra mod. I'm sick of these money beggars making threads just to say "PLES GIV MONEYY I WROK VRY HRD AND I SWREA ME MODE IS BETRE THAT OVER MODES TAHT PEPL MACK FRO BEAMING NG FOR FRE"
Look up the yamaha mod, theres another beamng bike crashes better, has variants, and rider models that aren't the dummy that's free. This looks way worse quality wise.

I feel like, for a paid mod, it should be much higher quality, with atleast paint and more models, and probably not explode into the 4th dimension in a crash

I love what you did with the backrooms clip.
Just from my observation it could be that you're trying to drive this like you would in GTA being full left/right flicks to turn. Instead you should probably be more linear with the turning as full locking a motorcycle in real life would mean you're flying straight off it over the handlebars.
I could be wrong but worth giving it a try :D
