Vic DiCara explains the key traits of Krittika Nakshatra and how they derive from the Nakshatra's god, Agni. He reads from and explains his book, 27 Stars 27 Gods.
Thank you for explaining. The more I think about the story, the more various nuances of Krittika come out to me- 1) Krittika seems to be more associated with critique than it is with skepticism. Agni didn't really question that the sage's wives were just appearing, claiming to want him. Yet his keen perception shows in his cunning and ability to pivot during a situation that is already obviously happening 2) I wondered if Krittika is more prone to getting lost in the details- "seeing the trees, instead of the forest", due to being about cutting more than putting things together. 3) Given how the child had to constantly split up to match everyone around him, it seems like Krittika might lack some identity-wholeness. Good diplomacy requires some sense of authenticity (ex: so people don't feel tricked), however maybe Krittika feels like they have to choose between pleasing people (splitting himself apart doing so) and being themselves (then being cast out/hated, like the ferocious child by the Gods). I find some attraction to Krittika types, despite being Uttara Phalguni moon. Some intrigue and pull between the divorce and marriage nakshatras. This could be due to other factors, such as having a Krittika lagna myself, although Asc lord is in Rohini, which should reduce Krittika's relationship-severing qualities.
nice description of krittka. thanks for sharing insight. i agree the things about being critique and getting so lost that forget the whole. btw i have same position of asc. and lagna lord nakshatra as you. the difference here is my nakshatra of moon is mula.
My Lagna is in Ardra, Moon in Uttaraphalguni, Lagnesh in Krttika and 3 Grahas in Rohini - Venus, Rahu and Sun. Relationships are a real challenge for me...
I did end few relationships in krittika style. I cut them off suddenly and quickly. Like when my friend told me he fall in love with me I was schocked didnt know what to do so I cut him off, telling him I dont feel the same and It will be better for him If We dont meet. Later after a year or two he said it helped him.
My Lagnesh is in Krttika and it is Mercury, a bit combusted, now it is clear to me why I was always accused in being sharp in sense of attitude, which annoyed me a lot. As for relationships once I see they stopped making sense I don't drag the "dead horse" I cut it off. Sometimes it hurts myself though as I have my Venus combusted in Taurus with Rahu, but somehow I feel it's so me...
Thank you for creating these videos, they are all so educational and a delight to listen to. I have a Krittika sun in the 7th house so this explanation has been very helpful to me. Will definitely order your book ❤️
amazing story... the child convining shiva and agni seeds... destruction and fire ... just like a volcano...... but it's curious that the son splits himself for pleasing his mothers and then his multiple parents... krittica can cut and separate also for love!🙏✨
Wauw Vic, thank you so much for this video. I remember this story, read to me by my mother when i was small, i also always wondered who Svaha was, i am so happy and amazed and thankful for the insight from you, telling and explaining the story about Kartikeya/ Krittika and teaching us, the viewers, about the symbolism in our lifes, it gives me so much joy, also i really love it when people tell storys or tales, its a beautiful art in itself. Thank you for sharing all your wisdom. Goodluck with all your deeds and studies. Greetz.
Oh, my 5th house starts in Krittika !! Ok, I understand so much more what's happening in there 😅 thank you maestro, really appreciate your work deeply 🙏
Vic, Thank you for putting this together and reading it like you did. I have been reading Puranas for many years now and enjoy meditating on their meanings immensely, but I love hearing them retold by you, and you are one of the most engaging story teller.
You are very welcome. I am happy to have found your channel, will download your book, hope you will continue telling those amazing stories. Thank you for so much good work. Namaste.
Literally just yesterday I watched a particular episode in Mahakali series about Shiva and Parvati's energy = child. The next episode is awaiting me but I already knew it was Kartikeya ) and today I come across this great video about Krttika Nakshatra where my Lagnesh sits in the 12th house. Thank you Vic🙏
I am surely ordering this book.. By the way my little anxiety is that my Jupiter and mars are in krittika.. Jupiter is husband and mars a lover.. might be.. cutting of relationship can be seen ?
Dear Vic How do I contact you for a reading if this is possible? You are a great teacher - I get so much from your videos Happy new year! PS what island do you live on?
+Cheryl Baptista Thank you Cheryl. My site is www.vicdicara.com - It has info about my readings, and it has my contact info at the bottom. I live on Kyushu, in Fukuoka ken.
i couldn't help but notice that at the end of the story, adoption or acceptance of a foreign child was a powerful theme. is adoption related to krttika? and if so, how does it relate to the themes of separation and divorce and disharmony within the family?
Maybe this will answer your question 😊 I have this on my 10th house cusp (along with Chiron) authority issues, religious issues, father abandonment issues. My father was an under cover agent for the military, cult member and lived a handful of very different lives, he moved a lot, we followed (sometimes) the cult also endorsed polygamy. My parents got married bc they got preggo with me... interesting in their composite chart they have the soul mate aspect (venus/pluto) conjunct my ascendant exactly. Which happens to be where the Great American Eclipse just occured. We have been no contact for a year now (third time in my life, I had to obtain legal emancipation at 17 yrs.) I even looked up my birthday # and it turns out that is the # of an asteroid with the story of father giving up his daughter for his country. ..it's a big theme in my chart✌❤
btw, my career has been a hairstylist for 13 yrs 💆💇 haha, even had an email address at one point called irunwithscissors... lol, the nakshatras are amazing. great videos, thx!
Krittika is the starting fire and fails a lot. There are a lot of places of potential despair. Perhaps being able to move forward on one's self-belief is crucial for Krittika.
I agree but don't you think if the equinox moves to some other nakshatra the lord of Kritika too will move to this star to be first again in subsequent cycles.
Wow this goes to show how old astrology is. Thanks Vic. Vic are Nakshatras available in Greek astrology too? Because there is a theory that the Greeks brought astrology to India.
Zodiacal natal astrology became popular in India as a result of greek/persian cultural exchange. But that is not the only application or type of astrology.
I thought that it was a good nakshartas for raising other people's children. I like Vic but their I things I don't agree with. Like if you know all these things ,then why does your numbers of nakshartas not correct.like I said I do like him but their are holes in his work..
i should have put this in every video, because this is like the 90th time I have explained in comments: counting starts from Krittika, not Ashvini, as per the Veda.

Understanding is complicated Story..
Thank-you..
God bless..
Love your backdrop👌🏻⭐️
I love that you said that sharpness is good when it comes to intelligence and love because I have both Mercury and Venus in this nakshatra 😛
He said "Love shouldn't be sharp", not "Love should be sharp"... logical ! Can you imagine ? Lol
excellent breakdown!
Nice, wonderful to understand Kritika nakshatra
Very informative!
Thank you.
Thanks Vic.. One of the most interesting stories.. In Mahakali series they didn't show Agni and the 6 wives part of the story.. Thanks for the info.
This was a very good story!
Literally just yesterday I watched a particular episode in Mahakali series about Shiva and Parvati's energy = child. What is the likely impact of the ascendant falling in this nakshatra?
My ascendant is in Kritika Nakshtra pada 4 and Mars in Kritika how will this effect my life?
What if it falls in the first house?
u r amazing...
Is there a link to take the test of the 27 stars?
I am surely ordering this book..
By the way my little anxiety is that my Jupiter and mars are in krittika.. Jupiter is husband and mars a lover.. might be.. cutting of relationship can be seen ?
So curious, do you believe in paying attention to exaltations, debilitations, enemies, etc with Nakshatras?
What about the trick of Swaha? Doesn't that get divulged??
Love your Radha Krishna Deities! 🙏

So are you saying people born in this nakshathra are not having any particular type of charecteristics
I’ve got Moon in Krittika in 8th house.
Thanks for this video
Wow this made me understand the pleiadians more.

Me too, Krittika Rahu but in the 12th.
I have Venus in krittka in my 1st house
Vic, what book are you reading from in this video?
"27 Stars, 27 Gods"
Krittika is the starting fire and fails a lot. There are a lot of places of potential despair. Perhaps being able to move forward on one's self-belief is crucial for Krittika.
Namaste. Do you have the same book in hindi
which book?
@@VicDiCaraAstrology 27 gods...
Virgo asc here, with Krittika moon. Oy.
Damnn you had a lot of style changes
I agree but don't you think if the equinox moves to some other nakshatra the lord of Kritika too will move to this star to be first again in subsequent cycles.
no. the deities are in the nakshatras according to their shapes and positions in the starry sky.
You just need to look to the stars in the night sky and see where they lie it is as simple as that as above so below
Merc in Kritt

+VicDiCarasAstrology oh OK sir ty for the info 🙏🙏🙏
Kritika rising .

Din know John Oliver was into astrology😂
Sir, u are here saying the wrong interpretation of the story. Pls go read subramanya bhujangam, and correct ur knowledge
Rahu krttika oof
I don't get how life could be about lessons when most people have whatever ideas and values they are raised with
" this is a real soap opera " 😄
