    THANK YOU! My freind and I were talking about somthing like this the other night. We asumed we'd need an ardu\iuono etc. So thanks for the low tech but V smart solution!. Reminds me of school when we did the light dependand resister cuicuit, but instead of hocking up a bulp i used a relay and a lamp OVER the sensor, so tuning it on, turns it off :)
    V impressed sir, and thank you again!

    HoI 3dsage, when the new video on gba, like saying that you work for minecraft, I certainly do not force right now to make a video, just tell me at what level it is, at the level of writing code, or at the level of a game, and by the way that there is a Zelda 3d, what successes,

    How do you have a 3D printer but not a drill? I recommend getting one. It would make winding your coil much less laborious. Edit: Actually, if you want a device that can operate continuously, using a pre-made coil from a 5V relay should work better.

    • @3DSage
      @3DSage  Před 6 lety

      haha hm I guess I don't have a drill. But I also wanted to keep this simple and winding it by hand isn't too hard and it's more rewarding when it all works. And I feel like winding wire with a drill would take some practice to master. If you want to, you can try it. And I originally thought of using a pre-made coil but I like how mine turned out.

    I just made this project, but I can't get a small magnet, with or without a hole in the center, to suspend. At first I was thinking that I have the coil wires in wrong order, so I reverse them - it sucked the small magnet to the coil; so I put it back as it was originally. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you again!

  • @rashmirathi3357
    @rashmirathi3357 Před 5 lety +1

    I made it but the magnet is getting attracted to the hall sensor and repelled from the coil. I also tried switching the ends of the copper wire. Please HELP me fast.

    • @3DSage
      @3DSage  Před 5 lety

      Try turning the magnet over? Double check the hall sensor and mosfet are working correctly. components can break. Try watching the video again closely. Its hard to figure it out without looking at it but let me know if you figure out what it was.

    • @ravelonjatovoherman3270
      @ravelonjatovoherman3270 Před 5 lety +1

      Hi!You have to see the voltage of Hall sensor and features of this components and use the air coil to avoid this phenomen,never put the sensor near the magnetic field of air coil.Try it and you should have a good result.

    • @ravelonjatovoherman3270
      @ravelonjatovoherman3270 Před 5 lety

      if hall sensor is in the high voltage ,it is very sensible.

    Is the magnet wire same as enameled copper wire? Or does it have a different composition?

    • @3DSage
      @3DSage  Před 6 lety

      Good question. They are both the same. Both are copper wire with a thin enamel coating which is perfect for making a coil like this since we can get lots of turns for a strong electromagnet. Use the same thickness as I did, AWG 30. Any higher or lower may produce incorrect results.

    • @istuser1
      @istuser1 Před 6 lety

      3DSage oh I see, thank you for the quick reply...I'm trying to remake your project, I'm not very sure if I'll find the same MOSFET and hall sensor at my place..so I might pop up here to ask you some more questions if you don't mind xD

    • @3DSage
      @3DSage  Před 6 lety +1

      I believe you can search the component name and type similar in google to find components that are pretty much the same. Any similar mosfet should work and the hall sensor needs to be unipolar.
