WOW 😮 Thats really really stunning and gorgeous. I really really love 💕 the way you created this card. I wouldn’t throw out those baby wipes. I’d wet them down, and let them dry, and use for making fabric flowers, or something similar to. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags

I’m pretty frugal with my supplies and consider inks and even wipes to be precious commodities that I don’t wish to overuse or waste (especially during this time when it’s more challenging to source those items). I will try this technique, however, instead of dropping the ink onto two wipes, I will apply it directly to my stamp from the ink pad and then lightly blot some off with a smaller piece of crumpled wipe or an ink dauber, to hopefully result in a similar mottled/variegated effect (will likely need to reactive the ink by huffing on the stamp first). I really like the look of the split and stacked panel...such a nice change from just using a single piece. PS- at the end, I would have used those inked wipes to create background papers by pouncing them onto card stock and then saving for other cards. ;-)

I love your videos and your tutorials - as I'm new to stamping - I just have a question (My dad always taught me - if you don't know something - ask) so that is why I'm asking - in the video you said to choose "solid stamps" as I said I'm learning and I simply don't know - so how can I tell which of my stamps are solid ones - thanks and I look forward to watching more of your videos and have a great day..

Germaine so happy to have you watching!! Welcome to the card making world!! A solid stamp is like what I used where all or most of the image is filled in, not just an outline of the image. Hope this makes sense!! I hope I can continue to inspire you!! Did you know I will be live the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Monday, and the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8pm ET.

@@lisasstampstudio - I don't often get time to watch the live - but I watch the replays more than once sometimes - and if you have card details on the video I'm watching - I will print them out, just finished watching a couple of your videos - the Baby Wipe Technique ( I have baby wipes on my list to pick up when I go to town tomorrow, and I can't wait to use both techniques and I finally learned from watching you how to do a Tri Fold card.. thank you for the information on how to tell what a solid stamp is and yes I understood what you were saying.. thank you and have a wonderful day..

Oh, I could never waste that much ink. I would have to find a way to use it. I would prefer to fold the baby wipes so I could put them in a covered container and use the same ink again on a different project. But I do like the idea.
