Another legendary musician has left us! RIP Eddie!
David Lee Roth was a wushu pracrioner. Alex and Eddie and from Holland mother was Indonesian and father is dutch
The singer David Lee Roth has extensive background in martial arts that's why he's very flexible
If you go on Facebook and type in Eddie Van Halen you'll see how many famous people gave honor to him
You gotta' love kids! The Jump video is entertaining, but they are also. RIP Mr. Eruption. Your music will live for generations.
Lead singer David Lee Roth has a martial arts background. That’s why he’s so flexible and can do the splits and amazing kicks.
He trained in Monkey style gung fu..
The genre is rock. Van Halen started as a guitar based hard rock band in the late 1970's and became a more synthesizer based glam rock band in the early 1980's.
Master Eddie...i saw them in concert 1985.. Love
Watch Eddie’s guitar solo Eruption from their debut album.
Wow!!!! What a shocker 🤭, I was about to leave my job to go to rehab n I look on my phone 📱 n it said that Eddie Van Halen had past away from Throat Cancer at the age of 6️⃣5️⃣ years. Eddie was an icon n in my opinion, the Greatest Rock N Roll 🎶 Guitarist 🎸 of all time. Him n his brother Alex Van Halen started the group in the 70's then teamed up with Bass Player Michael Anthony & The Greatest Lead Man in Rock N Roll History, David Lee Roth n then came Sammy Hager. They had so many great hits from the 70's, 80's & 90's. The ones that I like were with David Lee Roth, Panama my favorite, then comes Jump & Jamie's Cryin 😭. Rip Eddie Van Halen, Ur now up in Heaven's Tears 😭 playing Panama, just like ur music video flying in the air. God Bless The Van Halen Fam. Wolfgang (Son), Alex (Brother) & Valerie Bertinelli (Ex-Wife).
Thank you Eddie for all of the heart, soul and energy you put into your music. Truly "what dreams are made of" (VH lyrics from Dreams, my fave).. "Music kept me off the streets and out of trouble and gave me something that was mine that no one could take away from me" -Eddie Van Halen RIP 💗🎸💐............
The Bassist you see in the video is Michael Anthony, he was replaced by wolf.
Lead vocalist David Lee Roth, GUITARIST EDDIE VAN HALEN RIP, Drummer Alex Van Halen, bassist Michael Anthony Jump video was out in 1984
Its so sad to see younger people that have had very little exposure to music before their era. I'm so glad that you two enjoyed it. This song is from Van Halen's album 1984 (which was released in... you guessed it, 1984). You were making me feel old saying that this was probably from the 60's :-) I was in junior high at the time and loved this album. Eddie was a true talent and will be missed greatly. Keep up the great work you two.
Rock which took many forms
When you talk Rock, and a lot metal music, Van Halen from 1978 till now, is the main piece of how it is all played today. They (Basically Eddie) is the #1 factor that reinvented how guitar is played through out all genres in some way. They as a band are one of the 3 main pieces that changed rock, between I’d say Queen and Rush. Amazing band, R.I.P Eddie !
this was the fabulous 80's baby. A great time to be alive. Hair bands, spandex, colorful clothes!!
Best concert ever was the Van Halen II tour in '79. It was in the Music Hall in Houston and it's not a very big venue. My ears are still ringing.
Thank you for appreciating Eddie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was VH's first big "pop" hit. Before this song, they were known for being one of the biggest rock bands on the planet. This is a bad example of the group's true power. If you want a live suggestion try the video for "Unchained." And of course, "Eruption." The videos for "Panama" and "Hot For Teacher," off this same album are both very entertaining! Trust me.
Thanks for reacting. Eddie was awesome, he's one of the top guitarists of all time. He will be missed, RIP Eddie Van Halen. Man this year has sucked. This song was from 1984. I find it funny that people get the decades all mixed up, but if you don't know, you don't know. Van Halen has had different line-ups in the group, over the years. All good. Not criticizing, just pointing it out that it's pronounced Van Haylen. I think I read somewhere that David Lee Roth was very disruptive and hyper as a kid, always getting in trouble for not being able to sit still for very long. After you get acquainted with more music, you'll see the difference between the sixties, the seventies and the eighties, it'll be easy.
Eddie the great Van Halen, R.I.P
The drummer is Alex Van Halen,Eddies Brother
You made the tribute to him by enjoying the music and video, it is all he would ever have wanted:)
Never too late to like Van Halen.
Eddies brother Alex plays drums, their father was Dutch and their mother was from Indonesia. On bass we got the awesome Michael Anthony and on vocals and acrobatics David Lee Roth.
Greetz from The Netherlands.
classified as a Rock band. 1970 & 80 not the 60s
1984 guys, 1984... anyway, nice reaction. Long live il Maestro Edward Lødewijk "Eddie" van Halen, he will be missed, his legacy will live on!!! 😢🤘🤘🤘🔝🔝🔝❤❤❤ Greetings from Italy!!! 😉
1984! We got it now! Sorry for that! Greeting from Montreal!
RIP Eddie.
One of the best guitar solos Eddie Van Halen played in Michael Jackson's song "Beat It"
That's right I like how everyone pointing that out to everyone
this came out in 1984. This is pop music but originally they started as a rock band in California
U need to react to Van Halen's Panama Music Video. U guys will enjoy this music video.
Eddie Van Halen on guitar and keyboards, Alex Van Halen drums, Michael Anthony bass guitar, and lead singer is David Lee Roth.
Side note Wolfgang is Eddies middle name
First off thanks for this, EVH was a special musician but if you want to really experience EVH's true genius watch Van Halen Eruption no it's just Eddie and his guitar you won't believe what he could do with it
The band members are:
Lead singer David Lee Roth
Guitarist Eddie Van Halen
Drummer Alex Van Halen
Bassist Micheal Anthony
This in the 70's
You have got to react to Eruption live! from the Live without a Net tour. You will be blown away by Eddie’s guitar solo!
it's the 80's loves!
Goat RIP BTW 😍 your cute just saying

@@houseofchow143 your welcome 😊 cutie pie you your bro keep with ya reaction to van halen queen great music musicans that we lost past years you have one best growing channels best luck I'm help out because ya great
Had the same thought as Rene, I'm new to this channel but the girl in the video is incredibly beautiful.
His brother is the drummer Alex. David the singer pratices martial arts.
Eddie is guitar
Alex Van Halen drums
David Lee Roth, vocal
Michael Anthony, Bass
Jackie and William....pleae react to Eddie's masterpiece...Eruption
Yes
Eruption will blow your mind (as it did everybody else's when it came out )!
And dont get confused about the band. The band had 3 singers 1975 to 1984 they had this guy(David Lee Roth). Then they had Sammy Hagar, and again they split in the 90s then they had Gary Cherone, but they didn't have him for much time. And before Eddie died the band had Dabid lee Roth again. And instead of having Michael Anthony for base they had Eddie's son Wolfgang.
Eddie Van Halen was a guitar genius.
Guitar Edward Van Halen, Drums Alex Van Halen, Bass Michael Anthony, vocals David Lee Roth.
He is the guitarist, the group took his name, because he is amazing on the guitar, the genre is hard rock.
"Panama" is an awesome video too, by Van Halen!
Of course one of the best guitarists in the world is Asian. Indonesian to be exact. Love you Eddie.
Thank you for such a wonderful and heartfelt tribute to our King Edward.
watching interviews with him and other kind folks like yourself paying tribute to Eddie and reactions makes it somewhat easier to bear.
Rock / Metal / Guitar Music rarely gets mainstream exposure and respect so it is greatly appreciated you guys doing this.
There’s a Bad Religion ( Punk Band ) Lyric that says it al “ Everyone you love leaves a mark on your soul,
The world is a little less bright without King Edward I’m fighting cancer and depression and EVH has been an integral part of my life since day one.It may some daft but it feels like I’ve lost a family member.
His devotion to the instrument and chasing tone is unparalleled.
This is a brilliant interview if you haven’t seen it czcams.com/video/yb26D8bBZB8/video.html&ab_channel=Z%C3%B3caloPublicSquare
most people don’t know the King Edward was a bi-racial half Asian / half white Immigrant and that his lifelong friends were the black kids who stood up for them when they came to the US. As they were ‘half breed’ immigrants who couldn’t speak the language. And look at where they ended up man! A definitive American Dream story.
Eddie played the solo on Michael Jackson’s Beat it, re-arranged it so it sounded more ‘Rock’ and introduced Michael to a wider audience for free.
Eddie buried Dimebag Darrell from Pantera with his original Bumblebee Guitar when Dime’s life partner Rita asked him to make a Copy Ed said “an Original deserves an Original”
Vinnie Paul ( Pantera ) Dimebag’s brother says the last words his brother said to him was Van f+*in Halen’ their nightly ritual before hitting the stage.
He gave Jerry Cantrell 5150 Stacks after touring with Alice In Chains and the last concert he went to was TOOL and a TOOL fan asked him to take a picture of the fan in front of Tool’s stage and he did, The fan had no idea who Ed was and Ed was chill with it. / no ‘don’t you know who I am’ attitude.
Frank Zappa loved and respected Eddie and got him to teach Dweezil who was obsessed with ED When Frank died Ed was THE 1st first to call with condolences and to offer any assistance.
He did the same for Chris Cornell Guitarist Pete Thorn when Chris Passed
He got Allan Holdsworth signed to Warner to introduce Allan to a wider audience
He was the 1st to mod his guitars in such an extreme way chasing tone, popularising the Super Strat - Humbuckers in Strat style guitars, Waxing Pickups, Variac on his amp and did his first 2 albums with the original Fender Whammy which led to the creation of the Floyd Rose
Whammy Bar and later he developed the D-Tuna addition to go from standard to drop D
Les Paul Said Ed, him & Leo Fender are the only guys who know how to make guitars
His 5150 Amp is still THE go to amp and sound of Modern metal, Gojira use the EVH 5150
His Rhythm Playing was funky, tasteful and rockin’ and his songwriting is the reason his loss is affecting grandparents, parents, kids and all ethnicities alike as Van Halen songs will live forever.
Henry Rollins saw them as an Opening Band and they Blew away Black Sabbath, Ozzy said someone doesn’t get That good without crazy dedication to your craft.
He bravely and quietly fought cancer for 20 years
Much love to Alex Wolfie, Valerie, Janie, Dave, Michael, Sammy, Gary & all the fans that lost this Brother from another mother
Enjoy EVH czcams.com/video/L9r-NxuYszg/video.html&ab_channel=Hazardteam
Buena información , la conozco y és bueno compartirlo con los jóvenes .
Buena síntesis 🇦🇷
That moment Eddie "don't touch my guitar if u can't play bitch" lol
Rock musicians had varying lengths of long hair from roughly the mid -1960's through the mid - 1990's, although some started cutting their hair shorter or short (ex. punk rockers) in the late 1970's / early 1980's. The clothing/fashions they're wearing give a better idea of what era it is.
If you want a real entertainment you need to watch the official video Hot for Teacher
The reason why the Lead Singer, David Lee Roth, can jump that high and do splits is because he holds 3 Martial Belts in Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, Karate.
Hot 🔥 For teacher because your 🔥 great video funny fun note they had 3 lead singers two worked out
Bee Gees had long hair in the 1970s mostly from what you react to is the Saturday Night Fever soundtracks. You might you might want to watch that movie
This song came out in 1984.
It's pronounced Van-hay-lan
1984 is the year it came out lol...great review BTW.
The Frontman is David Lee Roth.
This music Genre is Glam Rock. It's an 80s band
It's pronounced Van Hay-len (long a)
The guy on guitar is Eddie
bee gees was in the 70's... stayin alive was on the soundtrack for 1979 movie saturday night fever...
In my opinion when diamond Dave was lead vocals vanhalen was always playing some where you could catch the show seems they were always on tour
1984
I believe this song is from the 80s
it was late 70's

You think that drummer is tired from the way he plays ya'll should react to Hero-Skillet. Jen Ledger is a great lady drummer.

i LiV^ED iN V^IETNAM = JUMP
80's
You guys have just discovered the GREATEST frontman in rock history...........DAVID LEE ROTH. This is the REAL Van Halen. Don't be fooled by liars on the internet. Van Halen have sold 34 MILLION albums with David Lee Roth as compared to 18 million with sammy hagar (the repleacment singer). Want to verify it, go to the R.I.A.A. website and it's all there. It was sad that Eddie died as young as he did, though not unexpected if you were a fan and read between the lines of what David Lee Roth had said months ago in the rock press about Eddie's health. The only solace for me as a fan was that their last concert was with ROTH, the real Van Halen. I was also pleased it was in Los Angeles which is where they're all from. They ended where they started, and that's the way it should be. Van Halen's legacy (as a band) will always lie with the David Lee Roth fronted version. Anyone who says different is either naive, stupid, or lying.
You should do a reaction video to Panama by van halen. It is a really good Song and music video. It is Also one of they're most popular Songs
The name of the band is pronounced as Van Hay-len
I think you're ALMOST ready for Santana's performance of "Soul Sacrifice" at Woodstock 1969:
czcams.com/video/JaaT_HRb4GU/video.html.
But first, get some basic facts about Woodstock on wikipedia. Imagine 400,000 people at a 3-day event!
React to Michael Jackson's "Beat It" video please! Eddie Van Halen plays the guitar on the song.
Just so you know its pronounced Van Haylen. Their "Panama" and "Hot for Teacher" are fun videos too. Jackie I haven't heard u guys mention how you are related. Are you and William sister and brother?
Eddie and Alex are brothers
this was 1984
React to unchained official video live in Oakland 1981 Van Halen.
Guys, I like your channel but the video you are reacting to is very small!
The band is as follows: Singer David Lee Roth, Guitarist Eddie Van Halen (Hale N), Drummer Alex Van Halen and bassist Michael Anthony. Their line up would change over the years but the Van Halen’s of course stayed in their band!
80s
Eddie is on the Mount Rushmore of Guitar Gods. This isn't the song to see his greatness watch the live version of Eruption.
recomend
Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4 or Make me Smile (guitarist Hendrix called a better player)
Rush - Tom Sawyer (Arguably the best drummer to ever live)
Yes - Roundabout (different from anything you have listened to)
Glamar rock
1980s
This is 80’s not 60’s
Do your research BEFORE reacting to the music, NEVER pause during a guitar solo, ever..thank you, good job kids.
The 60’s. Lmao. Really.
Americana - vote Trump.
1984 and again you two talk way to much.
