Caitlin is such a happy pill. All these songs specially Outro:wings, Pied Piper and Ugh are such fun songs but the lyrics are so deep. U should listen to these songs separately focusing on the lyrics and music production.
I just watched PTD Seoul concert online and it was so fun. M justbwondering what they would do differently in Las Vegas concerts.

Watching this made me so happy just seeing my boys smile and having fun, it also showed me why I loved all the songs that they performed.
Also Jimin was defo the pies piper during the performance as he just hypnotized me and I couldn't keep my eyes of off him (also I might be biased saying that as he is my ult bias)

PS. The band was live but not on screen T-T , they are Ghost band, the same in the npr and the BBC Radio 1 performances. Most of the bandmates have instagram (more active) and twitter. And the drummer has a yt channel and he used to post videos from the concerts waaay back.

Thank you!! I actually didn't realize it was a live band for this set! I assumed they just had the band record it so the guys could sing over a track. That's awesome! And also explains how fluidly the guys could talk and then start singing the next song

PS: Telepathy was written by Suga (Yoongi) in his typical way (30 min) during the pandemic and talking about ARMY since we couldn't see each other (esp we see them, but they couldn't see us). It ties up with his line in Life goes on ("between me and you things hasn't changed") and that was used in today's concert in Seoul T-T (at the entrance, they give army/the audience a banner to show at a set time during the concert, you can see it in the guys OT7 tweet after the concert or JHope's instagram) ^^

The rap line really does adjust their voices to the style of the song. Suga has mentioned that he doesn't really draw a line between rapping and singing. They all just have such wonderful voice control!

Hi. Firstly, I love the way you have placed emphasis on our boys i.e. focusing the bigger screen on our boys instead of yourselves, unlike other reactors who focus the bigger screen on themselves. I see you, I see the love you have for them, I see the way their music moves you. Spot on comments too. Just keep doing what you're doing. My 1st time watching you and I'm already a fan. Btw, I'm a 55 year-old Army mom with 2 BTS Army daughters and a very cool 68 year-old Army husband. 💜
I just got a bass ukulele and my 9 year old kid stole it (he's already a bass guitar player) and found the tab for Telepathy, and started playing it, and noticed that the verse drop is the only real bridge, but the bass line is the same throughout ... and besides the intro, the bass tab only has like 8 bars? And we were marvelling at the composition; it's easily my favourite song on BE, and I love it so much, and I never found it boring or 'sameish' -- the bass line is sensational -- and yet it's the same 8 bars all the way through 🤯 It's really wild to get a glimpse under the hood of some of these songs, is my point, and your reactions help us do that. So thanks! And I loved your reaction to Festa Room. Festa and Muster are rare opportunities for ARMY to hear some of BTS's older repertoire because many of them rarely show up on concert setlist. Look Here, Like, Pied Piper. Swoon! Ooh look, I wrote a novel 🤣

I can tell you off top, the second song, the one RM starts off with "What's popin' girl?" Is called "Look here." It is one of their most underrated songs but its on my BTS Top 10! Which is hard to pick!

pied piper is a song telling armys to study and to not be too obsessed with bts, but we all choose to ignore it 😂
ugh is about the misuse of anger, a “pure” emotion that should be used for important things (like protests against injustice) instead of being wasted as hate comments on the internet
telepathy was written during the quarantine and is a song basically telling armys that bts and armys are always together telepathically even if they can’t see each other in person

since you liked the rapline rapping over korean sounding music, i would heavily recommend ‘ddaeng’. it’s a diss track released for festa 2018 for free on soundcloud. the amount of play words in it is astounding, RM even uses 7 different uses of the word ‘ddaeng’ in his verse !!

Welcome back Caitlin! This video is so fun and I've probably watched it too many times lol. Definitely recommend Agust D, Daechitwa, UGH!, Cypher 4, Outro: Tear for rap songs. Other songs that are really good if you haven't heard them before are 134340, Let Go, Magic Shop, Fly to my Room, Paradise, Dis-ease, Love Maze, Answer: Love Myself ad so many more, I can't remember all but these are all really good. Outro: Wings is one of my favorites and same I'm amazed that it's an outro song💜😀

This is just a perfect little polished jewel of a music box! It makes me happy every time I watch it or see someone else watch it for the first time (got to show it to my sister-in-law and niece who introduced *me* to BTS -- sweet sweet vindication!). This was where I first heard Outro:Wings and Pied Piper and pretty much sat up straight in my chair and hit replay a couple dozen times. :D

I don't know how many times i have already watched this reaction, my brain is a bit mushy... but here we go!

Caitlin's reaction to "what's poppin girl" is wonderful. And when you two were laughing about that again during the livestream yesterday, I internally screamed because I knew where episode 11 would go 😁
And sidenote, everytime i hear RM going off in Look Here i get nervious, because that song is notoriously difficult to master in the Rhythm Hive game, and i've been stuck on a level with it for months 😣
But it's such a groove! So I can't give up on it 💪
"Outro:Wings... this is the outro to an album!? this is intens!" ... erm... yeah, that's one way to describe the entire album 😅 you already know a couple of the songs, but there's still more to come.
And they have performed this song quite a lot in recent years, they seem to love performing it just as much as we love hearing it.
Pied Piper, what can I say? the theme song of ARMYs? them just flexing on us how they can draw us in, the power they hold over us? yeah. And of course, the vocal control, just casually, sitting down crosslegged, my diaphragm would be protesting and throw in the towel if i ever tried anything like that.
Harmonized rapping: YES! 🤩
There are more instances where they do that, of course. The ability to not only play with intricate rhythms and rhymes, but also stay in key and sometimes create melodies was also one of the reasons why I was drawn to their rapping more than (most) other rappers i have typically heard onthe radio. 🤭
Ugh - "getting serious" yeah 😅 the vibe definitely switched up in their performance, and also in the lyrics. It'll be interesting to see the full reaction to this, also with the explanation attached, because this is once again one of those with lots of references and cultural aspects hidden in the lyrics, even if it doesn't appear to at first glance maybe.
16:35 Caitlin giggling over the background action: yeah 😁 this would be a classic video where you have to watch it at least 8 times, once for the overview and then 7 times to focus on each member, because they're all going off to do some random things 😁 and we love them for it.

Outro:Tear is very emotional,
Ddaeng is another example of them using traditional instruments and very clever lyrics,
And Ugh is another one of those "it's not a BTS album if there is not a song about societal issues" (loosely quoting Suga, i believe).
