2010 Polaris Ranger 400 Test

The 2010 Polaris Ranger 400 offers a surprising amount of performance for its reasonable retail price of under $8000. We expected this machine to be primarily aimed at utilitarian purposes and were surprised how much sporting performance it offers.

We have a 2013 Ranger 400HO,we ride using a gps,top speed is 43mph with 2 adults in it.I just had the drive belt replaced because it was only doing 41mph. These are nice machines with a long cruising range and since Polaris rates them at 40mph,I call 43mph a bonus.

Looks like a good buy. Did you guys test it fully loaded? If you did was there any struggle or severe hesitation like it could barely carry the weight?

At least on the higher-end models Like on the diesel and the 800
