In this video I show you how to remove the ear tabs from a wig.

Yaay!! I love to hear that. I freaking love wigs. My friend was all worried that people would think she was silly for being a white girl wearing wigs. I was like, the only people who would think that prob never wore one before. And I totally agree, the best way to begin normalizing something is to do it regularly!! ❤❤

I could have used this video about 2 weeks ago, lol! I did this with an old wig just to see how it would work. It made it so much more comfortable to wear with glasses. I don’t get that pressure from the ear tabs any more. Looks great! (I want this wig so badly, too!)
I have the same problem with my wigs, I have a small football shaped head, I am going to cut my tabs off on my least favorite wig and see how it turns out. Thank you for putting this kind of info on how to customize your wigs. Please keep making these types of videos, there is not a lot of information out there that can help us folks that wear wigs. ☺️👍🏼

Thank you so much for this video! I have used your instructions to give eartabectomies to two of my wigs - a definite improvement! More comfortable, I can put my hair behind my ears now, and my glasses earpieces fit better.

This is exactly what I need to do for my exact same wig. I have a big head and a 14 inch ear to ear and this wig is still too large ear to ear. I have been scratching my head trying to decide what to do to it. This is it! thank you so much.

I am definately going to try this on my new human hair wig. Its the only wig that had ear tabs that fit tight against my hearing aid tubes and glasses making it very uncomfortable after a while. Was going to try this on my new human hair wig but didn’t even know if it was possible and I didn’t want to completely ruin it. This is the only video I’ve found that shows this! Thank you!
Will this work for a wig that is too large? I bought 2 wigs on eBay and they are both great! One fits perfect (avg) but the other one is too big (large). I can still wear it, I’ll just use extra clips and pins. I must have weird shaped ears too because I have a problem with ear tabs on all wigs - I end up tucking the ear tab behind my ear since I like to tuck some hair behind my ear. Not very comfortable. Both wigs are short, too.
