My husband and I are applying right now with an organization that is essentially providing foster care to children and we might end up with like ten kids at our cottage, so I'm trying to collect ideas on how best to manage especially the cooking part. That aspect of it has been daunting to me but watching you guys actually has me looking forward to it! There is so much quality time to be had around cooking and eating together. Thank you for inspiring me and many others. We need more voices bringing people back to the joy that is family.
I love how you always have a helper, being one of the kids! It teaches so much independence, life skills as well as basic cooking skills, plus using math/science skills in a real life situation, and kitchen appliance safety, & they will carry these tools with them for the rest of their lives, so amazing!

I also really appreciate how wholesome the videos you make are which make me feel comfortable having my nieces and nephews watch them as well. Your videos have brought up many questions within out family which has lead to many discussions. It is great to have a family producing videos like this so thank you! I really appreciate you making videos that show adoption, teaching others about adoption (mainly kids) and the not only the need but also how important it is to the children that are adopted. I know that this has put adoption on my nieces heart and a large part of that came from watching your videos. I enjoyed this video because it gave me some ideas for dinners that we don't normally have. With that said on the night when Benji cooked, the second night with the ham. Benji is actually a pretty good cooker is what it looks like in the fact that he’s making homemade scallop potatoes man both of these parents go so far for their kids to go to eat healthy and have just a great life. Tiffany, I have a question that I've always wondered about. Are any of the kids picky eaters? Like when I was a kid I didn't like onions or tomatoes or none of that stuff but now I love tomatoes and onion powder I still don't like the texture of onions. So I just always wondered that... if any of the kids are ever picky eaters?
I would certainly use crockpots and instapots more frequently with your size family, especially if you are cooking large quantities of meat. I would also have Breakfast for dinner, like eggs and bacon. But I’m sure it gets really tiresome thinking what you could have different each night of the week. If the older kids, like LiLee and SaiDee aren’t busy, they could put together Taco night to give you and Benji a night off. 😃
