    Awesome video! I always see a lot of older .22s at gun shows that have beautiful patinas but the bores are long gone. I never thought about this being an option to bring one back to life. I'm going to keep my eye out for one now. Thank you for the all the knowledge that you share. I've watched almost every one of your AK videos. I've since completed three builds from parts kits. All function flawlessly. Thanks again!

    Great videos! I am surprised that the long drill bit could make a long hole like that straight! You are more skilled than I am.

    Good job explaining the process step by step. I have been rescuing old rifles from parts boxes for over 50 years. Keep up the good work. By the way Locktite BLACK is just as strong and not near as messy as Acraglass. The down side is you have to work faster due to the set up time with the Locktite.

    That hacksaw is underrated...thats a high tension saw, makes sawing almost fun.

    Didn't think you could due w/o a laith great information. My 100 yr old stevens 22 is worth about 270.00 so $260 for parts is kinda steep but I think I will save up for the tooling as you can always pick up some rusty rifles and get some use out of the tools or build a few handguns for fun. Thanks for the information !!

    I just picked up an old model 16 crackshot from getting rebarreled. I paid $100 for the whole job I think I owe them a little extra.

    If you add a bead, buy a GOLD or Platinum one. Silver and Brass tarnish.

    If you looking for ideas and I hope you are here's one an AK-47 converted into a style like design york me a matter of getting around the trigger mechanism then you'll be able to lengthen the barrel maybe even converted into a smaller round like a 223 giving her very well balanced weapon with all the reliability in long range capability.

    Will this method work for larger, higher pressure calibers? As long as you make these videos, I will watch them!

    • @Northtide
      @Northtide Před 5 lety

      Yes you can get liners up to .45 caliber. The main limiting factor is the major diameter of the original barrel.

    I think the loose stock was costing you a lot of accuracy. I would like to see you do a video on shooting with a new/rebuilt stock.
