It's always the basics that get the job done
yup
Nico too fast and sharp. Seemed like he had the extra pep in his step on fight night. Good fight!
he was sharp and hits like a train
Awesome fight!! đ
Thanks đ
Super quick
This ko seemed so quick and basic. What did the opposing fighter miss? How could that have been avoided? Interesting.
dropped his right hand too far was the thing that caused the hook to land. But the thing that made it possible for Carrillo to throw with full power was that Kennedy had taken quite some low kicks and was on one leg, making it near impossible for him to move away.
Very simple to square on didnât have heâs feet planted on the floor as before that had opposite leg up to block so off balance caught with a counter straight through the middle.
Kennedy took too many unanswered leg kicks. Looks like Carrillo used a nice little kick/hip faint to back him up and cause him to drop his guard and focus on his leg for a split second. Thinking he was going to check the leg kick but leaving him open to the hook. Crazy how far simple drills and sticking to a game plan can get you.
Easy to say from the safe side of the ropes...

Would have been good to include Kennedyâs Teep just before the KO.

I love watching both Carillo and Kennedy, but Kennedy didn't seem to be himself this fight. Hands lower than usual, unanswered low kicks. Those leg kicks took him out early.
Yeah his defence wasn't looking too sharp
