So like I noticed you sprayed and would stop and mill it, you didn’t have to flush right away? Or do you have a grace time

Awesome work! Im lookong into investing in a small heated polyurea sprayer for making small to large sized molds and coating things like room sized areas. Im wondering what brand you use for your machine and where you source your polyurea from? Im doing all this on a budget, so if you have any money saving tips for the equitment, im more than happy to learn!

Dis you guys did any cleaning before blasting? Or any kind of salt test?

Julian Zuniga I felt they power washed then did a salt test before Blasting was done .

@@whiteoak_papi3117 They showed the sand blasting of the surface ...which in fact can drive contaminant or salt into the metal. It should have been chemically power washed after the sand blast and re blasted. then coated in a set time to avoid blooming of the metals. They showed how they tested the thickness of the material application as a set standard. Now, I dont know about you...but any donkey can spray textures and coatings as required. The success of the job is the professionalism and the application of proper preparation to surfaces and adherage to spray disciplines and times to apply the product correctly for lasting durability. My thought is that the power chemical wash and the re-blasting and set timing of application are the most critical part of this products success...so why wasnt it shown here in its entirety if it was indeed done. If not, this is just a hick job that will require redoing at great cost again, withing the next two to three years. Great product...but lest see that the company can in fact facilitate the use of the product correctly. :(

Didn't you have to apply Primer before applying the polyurea coating? 2. What is the average thickness of polyurea coating for this time of job?

Polyurea be applied directly to metal. The lining was 125 mils thick.

What did you use as topcoat after the polyurea was sprayed? Or did you just left it like that?
And was the sprayed polyurea pure aliphatic or aromatic?
    Great job!

Polyurea is estimated to last 100 years in ocean water. In a typical wastewater tank it should last at least 15 years
