Great point about starting at any bar and work your way up. In Asheville after a 5 year break from Bartending (over 20 yrs in the Industry total I think) I missed it and wanted back in! Started over at a dirty dive Irish pub in order to make connections in the industry. Nine months later I got offered a job as bar and events manager at a popular downtown Speakeasy which was way more fun and chill.
