I too am alone with my dog . We are contented and happy. I am 77 years old and have mobility problems so we don't have a lot of adventures anymore but are content with what we do have. Much love to you both . ❤❤ Blessing.

It's so perfect. If you're a little early somewhere, the kettle is turned on and time flies.
A cozy coffee, a small cookie and then it's time for the appointment.
This sweet and happy face at the Hydro will melt any heart. He's doing it so well and Sherpy is clearly enjoying it.
The time afterwards to rest and have a leisurely meal simply rounds it off.
And yet the hard-working Jamie still finds time to get the large and beautiful garden in shape. Wonderful!

Sentiment is such an overwhelming and powerful emotion! I have questioned the use of the van before considering how Sherpa now struggles to get in and out and rarely if ever uses the various step devices you have created for him to jump up onto the seat to be close to you. However, all your reasons for wanting to keep it are perfectly valid. ♥
I still think a dog bed in the outdoor shelter would be the icing on the cake for Sherpa.
