Yeah man, the stoke around the mountain from all the other dig teams and competitors when he hit it gave me goosebumps. Cant imagine the vibe actually being there.

I cannot imagine the release of anxiety after ticking off some of these ridiculous features. Feel some connection when you see Bren in the Surrey hills sometimes too. Rooting for team Dog! Get it lad!
Honestly. I just want everyone to be safe. Anything else is a bonus these days. Red Bull (and the MTB business in general) needs to pay these guys a hell of a lot more for the risks they take!

insane how quiet the whole mountain is first and then everyones going full bonkers! its only riders and build crews up there though, no spectators yet. gives an idea how insane that gap really is...

Parachute could only be useful if he comes up short by exactly 9.5 meters, even then there wouldn't be time for it to open. Probably the only viable option is Spock with a jet pack.

Consider installing NETS under some of those jumps. Bob Burnquist has them on his mega ramp, for a reason...
I know they're all professionals, but some factors are out of your control. For instance, Wind, technical / material failures on the bikes, flat tires etc.
It shouldn't be too much of a cost or effort, compared to carving those lines, and they might just save a life.
