At the beginning of this Congress, the GOP who have a slim majority, voted for the rule that 1 Representative could bring the motion to vacate the Speaker role-- usually that is harder to do. Traditionally the main rules like that don't change until the 2 year term expires next January. I think it is possible to change that rule though.
