OOTP 25 - Pittsburgh Pirates 2024 Ep 1 - Opening Day Gameplay

- OOTP 25 is out and we're back with Captain Jack Sparrow to lead a bottom 5 payroll team to the MLB Championship. I livestreamed a lot of the player development stuff last night, but got carried away and started the season mid stream, which I wanted to include on this video series. Episode 1 shows the top 100 prospect list, and we have more pitching depth than I might have originally thought. Then we go straight into opening day @ Miami Marlins and see some slick new and improved gameplay mechanics. I also have magical powers as I will three home runs into existence in a game full of ups and downs that do opening day justice.
In Ep 2 we'll do a full roster breakdown and explain our goals for the future, as well as finish up our series against Miami.

Thanks for watching! If you're looking for a true MLB simulation OOTP is definitely the way to go and 25 is running WAY smoother than any previous versions and the in game is fun to watch/sim. It's on sale all week on Steam for $35. If you're looking to do more gameplay stuff, I'd recommend Super Mega Baseball 4 over The Show. It's goofy, but the gameplay is solid and way more fun than I ever had with The Show.
@@wokhedinn I'm actually still playing The Show from 21 with custom rosters. I love the depth of the GM stuff OOTP brings. How often do you upload vids? Even though I'm a Cub fan I enjoyed the Pirates opening day!

I love this game but the graphics, let's face, even High Heat 2008 had better graphics and still no good announcers.... Really would like OOTP make an emphasis on this part of the game.
