Dave this video was magic. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is so much you can do and see in Thailand.I would get up every morning at 5.30am and do my fishing, when I was holidaying in Phuket. For the 8 nights I was there. I caught about 40kilos of fish and gave it to the locals. I would fish morning and night. If you do take up to fishing. Let your sinker be the first, and then 2 or 3 hooks above it. I caught mostly 2 at a time. I am sure they were trevally's that I caught . Each of them weighing a kilo each. I will look forward to your videos when you produce them. Next month I will be in Koh Samui. I hope it is not too hot. Hello to Kim.
I love fishing but haven't done it for a while. Someone local is arranging a 24 hour fishing trip with a local boat... if here I plan on going. Kim and I are headed to Sri Lanka later today for about 10 days... I go running every morning just after sunrise. Love it here.

If you're ever in Chumphon, for more than just catching the ferry, would be excited to see footage of Khao Matsee which I mentioned before! It would give you fantastic footage of wonderful landscape and beautiful views of a beach with a very interesting history, in my humble opinion 😊

Shhh.....keep this beach location quiet.It's one of the nicest around Hua Hin and always pretty quiet.If you want to visit the temple there,just follow the road to the end of the reservoir,take a left and walk along the food carts into the temple.I recommend the small hike upto the Big Buddha,it's a terrific view point.And you can also walk down to Sanoi Beach from there.

nice video. i would have also been interested in more footage of the adjacent buildings (especially at hua hin beach up to the hilton), as you did in the end. usually one cannot enter the compounds. the wat in khao tao is lovely, nice view from the oktagon. you also can walk through the trees to sai noi beach. by the way: khao is pronounced like 'cow' in american english, how you pronounce is it means island, ko(h).
Thanks for letting me know about the pronunciation, I always wondered how to say them correctly... I agree on the video and buildings. .. next time. We usually drive to Sai Noi... but cool you can walk. Thanks for the comments.
Dave as a person that has ran multiple marathons, half marathons, etc. You really have your work cut out for you on a future 100 mile "run" at your age. You need to expect that a large part of it will be walking. That aside, good luck Buddy and be thankful that your body will override your ambitions. But have fun.
Yes, big part of the plan will be walking. For me it will just be a matter of finishing.. and nothing more. Hope to be running half marathon distances later this year, marathon distances by early next year, then some longer events, that I will walk run... thanks for the feedback.

We never see snakes. They are here, but the truth is they don't want to be around you, so they are usually gone before you see them.

I have the DJI Mavic 3... it is the full size drone ith great image quality. I think the newer ones are even better!!!
Dave, I am taking 4 fishing rods with me and a throw net for Wat. If you have seen Lilly's expat life. Wat is her husband. Lilly has 3 adoreable kids, and I hope to spoil them rotten. I will have my dinner at LILI KOI which is her restaurant. Looking forward to catch some fish with the kids, and I hope to see a few homes for sale. If you go to Koh Samui.
