Tony Salsa you need to learn Cuban rhythms and claves. You seem to only understand the 3/2 clave of Son Montuno- which is very linear and mostly on the 1. Carlos Caro and Marvin Diz are incorporating the multitude of times and rhythms in Cuba that relate to 2/3 clave. 2/3 has much more room to mess around than 3/2 does
