“We are currently investigating an incident that was reported to us involving the Dutch artist. He will not be rehearsing until further notice. We have no further comment at this time and will update in due course.” - Zábava
There is no reason to blame Israel for this at the current time, because they seem to not be involved.
Let’s be civil in the comments and try to understand that everybody has gotten their information from different places and nothing is currently official.
Guaranteed they are to blame. Even a glance would have then calling Joost anti-Semitism

I never blamed them. I said the biggest rumor was that the Israli delegation was involved, but that nothing was confirmed.

Correct, Israel is not involved with this. I just said it was the main rumor going around in the video because people have seen them not liking each other.
It all started when he refused to take a picture with eden. They took his photo from far and published it on their, i think, instagram page. It might be even X, but it was published. I didn't get was it there that they made fun of his parents death, or after they published it.
From what I've heard press from the Israeli delegation has been harassing Joost and other performers who they consider to be too critical of the invasion of Palestine, so the two stories are not mutually exclusive.
He did not use violence. Sweden is very much about censorship and his comments about Israel aren't welcome in a nation that does not uphold free speech.

Israel apparently doesn't have anything to do with it, sounds like he got into a fight with someone from production.
I can't understand all these comments like "Justice for Joost" or "Free Joost" without even knowing what happened. There must have been a reason for not letting him perform tonight. If he did something inappropriate, he should be disqualified, just like any other contestant who behaves like that. The EBU has announced that there will be an update on the investigation and until then everyone should calm down.

We can’t know what happened no, but honestly I don’t trust them when they choose to let Israel perform with what that country has done… they lost absolutely all credibility to me. I’m only participating this year to make sure Israel do NOT win. This is my political statement.
Of course there is a reason : Israel does not like people who is thinking and who has a different opinion for his CRIMES against Palestinians!!

This is nothing to do with Israel. He was childish and rude to the Israeli performer at last night’s press conference, and allegedly struck a Swedish photographer today. If this is the case he should be thrown out of the competition and charged with assault.
He did what he took money to do . Muslims in Netherlands stands with him and we will continue to pay him to harass Israeli people in Eurovision

It's so sad that the easiest thing to do is to blame Israel of harassing him, while he was the one covering his face with the flag like a child, asking why wouldn't Eden answer a dumbass question and was rolling his eyes after being asked about the concept of "united by music". He's too much drama even for the Eurovision.
Israel is not involved with this and it was not my intention to make it seem like it was their fault, so I’ll edit that part out.

There are videos online of them harrasing and provoking him after he asked them to leave him alone. They have been sharing space leading up to Semi Final 2 since they were close in the running order.
