Am I the only one liking the screen? Makes it easier to configure, can get feedback if it's on or not (with less power), can tell you if it's paired and can tell battery status!
Why a display? Have been using your devices for years and never needed one. Would drop the display for a longer battery life any day.

How are you supposed to use the display when sena is mounted on helmet? I don't understand why it exists.
I think that it may be a generational thing. I'm from the times of the tape/ cassette when you had to search by ear for your favourite song and most devices didn't provide data rich and visual feedback, but I sort of can get that certain people nowadays can get nervous when they don't have a screen in a device. Look, they are adding them to anything(fridges, washing machines, even Thermomix...)
For me it only makes the device more fragile, more battery hungry and probably heavier with 0/zero benefit in my day to day use.
Sena, I would reconsider this strategy in future products at it seems that new generations are less prone to ride motorbikes than us :P

@ you can buy a 600 mAh battery that fits perfectly into the intercom anytime. I bought one for my 5 years old Sena SMH5-FM and it's impossible to get it drained.

Too bad you got rid of FM on the newer 5S-10; mine broke within a month and there's no replacement. Other models don't have at least BT5.0.

On this device, no. The 10S, 20S, 20S Evo, 30K and 50S have a built in headphone jack on the clamp. -AB

Does it have mesh? Does battery die way faster than advertised like my 30 and my 50? Will the tech support department still suck balls when you have a serious issue with your sena? Concentrate on fixing the issues with the 50 already.
Does the 5S use the same speakers as the 50S? I used the SM5H years ago and it was great for me. I don't need mesh. Also, how do these speakers stalk up against Cardo's JBL's? Thanks for the help!!
Hi. The speakers for the 5S are the same as the 50 Series (50S and 50R) and provide higher quality, more bass, louder volume and more crisp audio compared to the SMH5.

Guys my SMH10 is running beautifully but still doesn't connect to the phone app. Please could you guys give a software upgrade patch or something ASAP.
Sam problem here and to pair 4 of them takes longer than the ride itself
Hi The SMH10 was one of the first devices. It has Bluetooth 3.0. This platform of Bluetooth does not allow phone app capabilities. However you can access the configuration directly on the device. How is this cheaper than the 20s evo? What is the difference between the 5s and 20s evo besides the new display?
5S does 1:1 intercom. The 20S Evo can connect to up to 7 other riders, and use audio multitasking to listen to music and intercom.

Seth Walker the Multitasking is the great tool for riding. I ride with my wife, she has her music and I have mind. We intercom talk for hours rain or shine, live my 20s

seriously a display? you guys clearly need a new R&D department.
How to make people to buy old technology - just put lcd. Your speakers are crap, your software is weak compare to cardo packtalk and overall when compare to even Interphone you product not perform any better. If you are on market for decent device don’t think different than cardo packtalk bold. You will be amaze how it work compare to sena or interphone.
I see you've made the same dumb modification as the Evo and put the USB socket on the top, REALLY!!! Do you sell many of these in rain free Ethiopia???

Make is smaller or have a bigger battery by not having a whole ass fm radio in there. Who the hell listens to fm radio while they’re riding anyway
I sure do. When you are on a 2 month long ride you can only sing yourself Eagles tunes for so long before you turn on the radio.
