    Hi beautiful ladies! ❤
    I am a fan from Indonesia! 💃✨
It's really hard for Asians to determine whether they have high or low contrast because we naturally have dark to black hair. Can you help explain more about this?
    Thanks girls! 🙏

I am also definitely bright winter with brown eyes 😊 and one of my sons as well. I love this season, I have mostly dressed accordingly whole my life but now it makes perfect sense. And since I know I started to wear neon since I haven't done that before 😂

Thanks for commenting on us freckled, cool hair ladies! It gets complicated for us with makeup too depending on how high of a contrast our freckles are. If you could address that at some point that would be great. Thanks for all the great info! Your channel is the most comprehensive, accurate, and helpful resource of information regarding color analysis I have come across, ever!! Finally, all people are being represented. Keep up the great work!!

Thanks for the explanation on contrast for cool shades. As a person whose color is decidedly cool (even my 3 year-old granddaughter learning what makes us different declared "Grandma you have white hair and blue eyes") when my hair was dark ash and my eyebrows were still so white no one sees them I rocked black. Not so true anymore, but I still keep black jeans for travel and a couple of favorite black graphic tees I can layer with summer shade toppers. Bless you for this work! ❤

I read so many rules that put me in the wrong season based on these myths. Mostly because of my blue eyes and fair skin. I have learned so much from your videos! I just got a new blouse with a color I would never have considered before these videos and it is amazing the difference.

yeah i was truly very confused in the beginning. i'm all over the place. i have fair olive skin. dark hazel eyes with golden brown central heterochromia and i have bright whites with a more almond shape. i have medium brown ashy hair. i think i'm soft & medium. no idea if i'm warm or cool. so i'm still a bit lost 🤣. i usually get placed in soft summer & soft autumn.
oh yeah.. and i have minimal freckles lol

Enjoy your channel, thank you. Love the dominant traits approach.
Still trying to figure out mine...but think im getting closer. Find it tricky even with 12 seasons as I'm medium contrast, neutral skin tone..even my natural hair is neutral as has both red/golden and well as ash and white/clear (grey) highlights. The only one Im pretty sure of is clear/bright...so at least gives me clear winter or bright spring colours to work from.

Thank you for saying blondes can be winter. And that golden blondes can be autumn. I’m sure there are colors out there make me sparkle. I get the most compliments from colors that come from the winter palette. I was golden blonde through my twenties until my first pregnancy. Then I became this dark blonde/light brunette. Red tones. Ashy tones. I’ve said for many years I feel like a calico. My hair is always way lighter on top than underneath. I’m now a white blonde gray color. I can’t tell if it’s warm or cool. I have color changing eyes with a golden brownish central heterochromia. I’m in my upper 50’s and still have dark eye brows although a little lighter than say a decade ago. My mom says the winter colors are best on me but also says that my mood dictates what looks best on me. Sometimes I feel they overpower me and other times I think they look great. I’ve been professionally analyzed. 23 years ago in the standard four season as a summer. Last summer through House of Color as a spring. My friend and I went together and were both analyzed. We both think they did our colors wrong. At the end of the session, for those who don’t know how this company does this, they will drape you with your “best colors” and then through a “worst” color over it. They quickly pull the “worst” color down revealing how great the “best” colors look on you. I’ve already said they classified me as a summer. They put this beautiful autumn green over those colors and pulled it off quickly. They filmed this. I go back and look at it often. THE AUTUMN GREEN OBVIOUSLY LOOKS BETTER THAN THE SUMMER COLORS! Sorry for yelling. The green lightened my skin and gave me this beautiful glow. When removed, it darkened me and gave me noticeable shadows. Anyone else as confused about their coloring as I am? Oh, I took a picture of myself tonight with my hair down and then did the black/white mode. Dark eyebrows and everything else blends. Great. No help there either. I’m going with what my mood dictates and call it good.

This is wonderful! I wanted to ask- do you really need to be a blonde to be a light summer? My hair is around a 6.5 or 7 and my eyes are green- the type of green that changes with light a lot (meaning with lots of light it looks like very light sage translucent green and with less light it can go down dramatically to olive.) My skin is very light and neutralish, on the pink side. I know I cannot handle the maximum of saturation because it eats me up entirely, so lighter colors are really my best (i would say summer) Darker colors eat me up as well, but there are just a few exceptions that I can deal with and look good, specially on the “berries range”
Back to the lighter to medium colors, between mixing them with gray and with white, white is my best, but I can handle up to a 15% gray at the maximum.
This is why I think I look better with the light summer palette… but get very confused when they show models who are extremely light in hair and blue eyes, as that is not me at all …
I know I can pick up some colors from the light spring palette, which to me is a sign that I may be in the light season. But need your help gals deciphering this :) Could I be a light season with these characteristics? Are there other seasons later that include non blodes in some sort of lightish season that we haven’t discussed yet in Color Class? Would love to hear your insight on this! What do you think, Sarah and Lucinda? PS- you both look so beautiful today!

Her features seem muted to me (compared to other high contrast people) I don’t know how to explain it! but her skin seems very “opaque” and not clear, unlike high contrast seasons.
