- Greetings. Finally tried Masterbox's US Marines Pacific War Figure Set. I decided to do a "tight" Pacific War Diorama Scene which had me scratch building an additional US Marine Figure with a 6 pack ab. Well, the scratch was only 70%. Modified Tamiya's Japanese Infantry Figure surrendering.
And of course had to create a Coconut Tree to depict a Pacific Island.

Man this is great. Everything about it. The build, the length of video, the commentary without talking too much and no obnoxious music. Please continue to make more like this! I dont know if youre into american west history but id love to see you do some builds on that time period. Maybe some pioneers, a wagon train, stage coach robbery, indian wars/battles. Woukd be amazing!
Hi Mate. I am so glad you liked it. Cheers.
Excellent diaporama.
Je vais utiliser tes idées pour les palmiers. 👍👍👍
Merci my friend
We definitely need more pacific builds. Not nearly enough nowadays
Hello BigGuyYT. I agree with you entirely. Not enough i say. Will try to do more of this. Thanks for supporting the Channel.

Superb, congratulations.
Hello Allan. A million thanks Boss.
Fantastic Craftsmanship
Hi Again TPB Buzelli. Gracias amigo gracias.
I thoroughly enjoyed this build looking forward to your next.
Hello Lee. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers.
Excellent build! At the start you mentioned saving money by not buying XPS type foam. One tip for everyone is you can normally get it for free if there is any construction in your area. I usually go ask the guys building if they have any scraps that would otherwise be going in the trash. After one or two tries, I now have a lifetime supply of all different thicknesses of XPS! They filled up a couple big trash bags full of little pieces that are perfect for small projects. Also reduces waste.
Hello Sir. Awesome tip but unfortunately consruction materials here like the XPS foam are not ubiquitous and available. They use a different material. But will surely follow your advise when i see construction in my area. Thanks Boss.
A great idea for the trees .I was thinking how to make them for my corsair build .
Hello Stephen. I do hope it helped you a little bit. Looking forward to seeing your Corsair Build.
@@IvanTheTerrible911 Thanks for the reply 👍🇨🇦🇬🇧
Hey, a beautiful build buddy 👌🏻 I hope you do more of those fantastic Dioˋs in the future.
Hello D. Thanks a plenty. Sure do. Will do more dios in the future.
Awesome diorama work, use of cable wires no longer in use was brilliant build of palm trees. Broken shelled trunks were excellent, but did not hear/see what was used as splintered trees pieces.. another great tutorial build just don’t rush showing paint used.. thanks for sharing
Hello Ed Horst. Thanks for dropping by. I apologize if there were some things missed out. The splintered tree pieces were just balsa wood left overs and was simply placed on the drying putty. What paints were you referring to? Cheers mate. Thanks for supporting my measly channel. I appreciate it very much.
Awesome work!
Hello Darren. Grazie Boss. Very much appreciated.
Superbe réalisation une fois encore. Quelle maîtrise et qu’elle créativité ! Le réalisme des palmiers est vraiment incroyable. Chapeau bas Yvan.
Bonjour. Je vous remercie pour vos aimables paroles. Je suis content que vous aimiez les palmiers et la construction générale. On se revoit bientôt.
Nice job, as usual. I like the progression paint chart. Going to have to access that.
Greetings Stephen. I am enjoying trying the color theories out. Like many of us we want to improve on our figure paintings. Just have to get used to learning the HVC (Hue-Value-Chroma) in painting. Steep learning curve for me. Thanks and cheers mate.
you are a artist my friend cheers bud
Hi Wayne. Glad u like it sir. Very much appreciated.
Excellent job 👍
Thank you so much Bill.

Hi WafflyFox! I am so glad you liked it. Cheers and thanks for the support.
@@IvanTheTerrible911 no problem mate 😉
Super job, excellent details and a great watch. I really enjoyed the way you scratch built the whole scene and the use of everyday materials. Just subscribed and checked out what I've missed.....I've a lot of catch up and happy about it!
Hello Robbo. Gee thank you so much. Your subscription means so much. Thanks for supporting the channel sir.
Impressive diorama, I like your scratch built figures.Well done!
Hi Mark. Hope all is well. Thanks a million Sir.
Outstanding
Thank you my friend.
Well done, love the figures!
Thanks again. Thanks also for supporting the channel.
Вы супермега маньяк, особенно с пальмой!) огромное спасибо за видео!
Здравствуй, друг. Я рада, что тебе понравилась пальма. Спасибо за поддержку.
Great video! At 15:00 the pics of the palm trees shot to hell, I always wandered if that killed them full of bullets and holes and theyre fronds all shot completely off?? Does anyone know?? Anyone ever see what they looked like on the beaches years later? Any photos? Cheers from Nebraska like o"reilly.
Hi Boss Troy b17 from Nebraska. IIRC palm trees or coconut trees regenerate as long as the "root system" stay intact. In most cases during the Pacific War, damaged coconut trees were uprooted by heavy equipment by the CBs to make way for landing strips and other camp facilities. Thanks for the like sir and god bless.
Looks great, and no cheating with after market scenery, whats the best glue for sticking stuff to the platform like real stones or as with your fallen palm prongs?..
Hello my friend. Thank you so much. You can use a E8000 solution glue though its China made. Alternative glue can be wood glue as well and very strong and reliable too. Hope to see you again and thanks for the support.
My centurion is 116
Man, that's amazing! I am making my own pacific war diorama, hope you don't mind if i take some inspiration ;)
Hello Mike and models. Sure thing mate. Feel Free. Imagination and creativity has no limits. Thanks for supporting the Channel Sir.
Can I do the same thing with Roman shelled like you do with plants
Hi MArk. Yes you may. All you need to do is scale it up to 116 size for your centurion
What putty do you use for made the figures?
Hello Asier my friend. I used Magic Sculpt. See you again soon.
What color did you paint Uniforms with Base color
I used a mixture of khaki and green from Vallejo adding very very small drops of yellow.
Why did you choose private O'Reilly from Nebraska?
Hello. Nothing much. It was a random after thought. Any similarity to actual person living or otherwise is purely coincidental.
What Brand of paint and Brushes you
Hello George. I normally use Tamiya, Vallejo and Hiro Acrylics. For brushes, AK Interactive, Ammo, Tamiya and common school supply brushes.
Hey, a beautiful build buddy 👌🏻 I hope you do more of those fantastic Dioˋs in the future.
Hi. Thank you Sir. I will try to do more for you. Thanks for supporting the channel.
