There's so many good parts to this. One thing I quite appreciate is that I never before noticed how much Basil's something looks almost like the roots of a tree. The sheer amount of symbolism packed into those things is impressive - Sunny's is always behind him, almost supportively and yet haunts him like the ghost it so resembles, never leaving him alone, yet has a more literal reason to its appearance as well. This adds to Basil's being the same way. The rest of the scenes are great too - the use of Daddy Longlegs, the without-filters Mari near the end and Stranger being only the top half emerging from the mouth of the something, and just the incredible imagery in each drawing. The nods to the original video are quite well done too.

It seems to be largely based on the official music video for the song, which is also animated (in a similar style, similar visual elements, etc)... Doesnt make it any less impressive, this is an incredibly made animation with loads of original content!

The colors, the art style, the passion in these fucking drawings is astonishing.
