- This is a nice treck on Asia's second largest monolith (after Savandurga). The climb up to the fort is tough but will reward you with some breathtaking views of the plains around.
It's only 100km north of Bangalore so don't hesitate to go!

Excellent viewing sir
Thanks. Excellent place to see indeed!
Woow 😍😍😍😍
Yeah it is really nice!
I guess the handrail has spikes so that kids don't sit and slide on it. Nice video. Excellent drone view.
Thanks! Yes I guess that the sipkes were there for this reason too. But I would not limit it to kids, I would have been tempted too ;o)
The original fort and those steps carved on the rock and the temple like structures and bastions are actually from the time of the Ganga and Bhoja dynasties , around 1500-2000 years ago
Thanks for the details!
Lovely Sir
Thanks! :o)
Great man, it's my native..
Lucky you. Would climb there much more often if I lived close!
My Next Destination......... also known as Honey Hills
Is it safe to travel this time..will there be other people ?? very helpful vlog
Not sure. I'm no longer in India so I guess it's be a good idea to ask on a few trekking websites in Bangalore.
Nama madhugiri great
Yes it is!
Namma madugiri
You're from there?
Nam madhgiri super
La fin est un peu dangereuse mais ça vaut sûrement le coup !
C'est l'impression que ca donne avec les vues de drone, mais globalement ca va!
Thanks for this wonderful video. Could you please give me the information of the background music playing? kindly friend.
+Victor Borges Thanks. For the music it's music that CZcams gives away for free. I'll find what the title is and let you know.
First few seconds: "Far out man" by Jingle Punks
After: "Retreat" by Jason Farnham
Thanks a lot for the details sir. Regards.
No problem.
Salut je viens d’arriver à BLR et j’ai cru comprendre que les drones sont interdits. Comment fais tu? As tu une licence ?
I am interested to know what is type of Drone you are flying. How much it cost in India to buy ? And can that be operated easily without much training ?
Hello. Right now I'm flying a DJI phantom 2 with a small camera attached. It's not too complicated to operate as long as you're carefull. The only time I crashed mine, was because of a battery issue which left the drone drifting and going down alone. I had no control over it. I don't know if it's still for sale in India. You have much nicer ones now (also more expensive) with sensors to avoid hitting objects. If you're interested, stay around, I'm planning to change my drone and give mine away with a small contest on youtube to celebrate my 1000 subcribers (maybe october or november)
Thanks for the Info. I will wait surely.
I see that you are traveling nearby places around Bangalore. If you want to know about more places then let me know. I have been doing some trips during last 2 years and know quite good number of places to be covered in one-day tour.
Well I have a list of places I want to cover and since I joined Bagalore Trekking Club, the list is growing fast. I just couldn't get out much the past month. From next week I should start going around again!
But if I run out of ideas I'll definitely ask ;o)
