However, there was one item that should always be at the ready in case he decided to eat it. That food was banana pudding. The banana pudding was made fresh each evening that he was staying at Graceland. This way if Elvis Presley wanted to enjoy his favorite dessert of vanilla wafers, banana pudding, bananas and whipped cream it would be ready.
On January 8, 1935, Elvis Aron (later spelled Aaron) Presley was born at his parents’ two-room house in East Tupelo, Mississippi, about 35 minutes after his identical twin brother, Jesse Garon Presley, who was stillborn. The next day, Jesse Garon Presley was buried in an unmarked grave in nearby Priceville Cemetery.
