I think they wanted to leave the industry when their flag was still flying high.
To be honest, most Kenyan artists are struggling to keep up with the Nigerian and South african artists.
Those guys are raking in millions of view after a few days or releasing a new track. When our Kenyan artists take months to get to a million or two.
The market especially outside kenya is not easy for the Kenyan artists to compete in.
But no one is ever going to say that they are splitting because they are not on the top no more. It sells to be dramatic so they had to create a dramatic excuse before they figure out what will work out best for them in the current market.
Thats just my view.
They were a great group though. I hope individually they will manage to be flexible enough to grow to the levels of the other artists who are ranking high.
