I have owned a 2007 3.2CDI for 12 years and it is the best looking car I have ever driven. It goes like stink and gives me 48mpg if I drive like a vicar! The Gen2 cars look awkward and the performance differential is marginal and you really should not be driving a car like this at its top performance on public roads. It is an indictment of the Gen 2 cars that the Gen 3 cars seem to have been designed on the Gen 1 - back to the future! If I ever sell my car that is the one I will go for, but not yet - not yet!!
Just bought mine with 72000miles in blue with AMG package, with full options as 23 Years Old I am shocked how good the design looks of it, plan to keep it as long as gen3 is not cheap enough to buy
Great car, can't wait to buy it :)
Ive had cls 500 for 2 years, one year ago sold it 😢 and now im watching this full 😅😅
I’ve decided that for 30th birthday im gonna buy the same Cls but 550, 22 months left 😂 this time with modified exhaust, original sounds too gentle, what a car tough
smooth looking cls
lOVE THIS CAR!
CLS 500 ❤
My father owned a 2007 377bhp 500 model for a while. it was great in a straight line but not so hot in the corners due to it's mass and air suspension. Unfortunately it wasn't a reliable car, it left us stranded 60 miles from home on one occasion and it also had issues with the air suspension, window regulators and it also had rust on the body and on brake pipes. it was 5 years old at the time...
#GoGettersNetwork Thanks a Million... Iam a S600 Benz Man but youve just open my eyers... lol
Sounds like mine but quieter 😉
I love my black 2006 cls500 ❤
How long you had it how’s the reliability? I’m looking at 1 on fb market $6,500 with 86,000 miles
@@Basemodel415 1 years I’m at 94k miles I got it at 76k miles. Make sure the harmonic balancer isn’t wimping or you’re in for in big surprise , I DIY all repairs since I have the Xentry Computer for Mercedes. Very good car, my year only has 306 hp and is still quick
I have a 2006 cls 500, the engine is pretty reliable, everything else not so much. The air suspension, transmission, and peripherals are all known to fail.
@@rap_freestyles sound like bad maintenance 😂
@@rap_freestylesmost people don’t understand the maintenance on a German luxury car compared to a Honda, I’ll
Drop a link to the full service guyide, just replacing filters and fluid won’t work, your gonna need to works 😂

Yoyo
Jantes 17pouces o 18pouces?!?

Only 7 g tronic, in supercharged version 5g tronic A900
CLS500 🤍
Rechte Spur kennste wahrscheinlich nicht ?
sounds like not all the cylinders are running
Maybe :) This is a colleague's car, so I can't say anything about the car
Awesome car!
Just a word to those that are saying the C219 phase 1 is better than the phase 2. I dont believe you know your Mercs.
Have you even driven and compared them?
They are miles apart. I had a phase 1 2006 and traded it for a 2010 and the difference in power, handling and looks were amazing. I now have a 2014 C218 CLS 550 which is another level again but for looks I would still pick my old 2010 phase 2👍🏻
Looks are subjective; I looked at the gen 2 & didn't like the interior & exterior, so plumped for a low mileage gen 1. But yeah I agree the driving dynamics will be better with a gen 2.
1st generation is much better and more beautiful
C219 is more reliable with its N/A V8 M113 engines compared to turbocharged new engines with their high operating temperature
I prefer the 2nd gen
🏳️🌈?

the headlights are more beautiful on the second generation. The only thing i don’t like at the first one is those ugly headlights
I do too but this is more realistic for me to get
The 550 is a big improvement on the 5litre👍🏻
Nope 😂 piece of shit.
The 5.0 m113 is at least reliable
Apart from reliability
@@phil955i wake up! They solved the reliability problems that the 500 had. Why do you think they did it🙄
@@mikimoto99 you appear to be quite ignorant on the subject of Mercedes Benz engines. The M113 5.0 used in the 500 is legendary for being just about the most bulletproof V8 they made. The following M273 5.5 they used in the 550 had numerous well documented problems, chiefly the timing chain. The only thing the M273 improved on was power output.
@@phil955i You need to go to specsavers and also ditch the hubris pal! I am referring to the phase2 2009-2010 550 which by that time had solved the timing chain issue.
You have compressor problem
