These Video Tapes Made Wonderful Babysitters!

- I was rooting through our room-full of boxes the other day when I discovered a box full of video tapes, about 20 of them. I pawed through them which brought back a flood of memories having watched these tapes numerous times with my children. And yes, these tapes made wonderful babysitters. I could toss in a movie and go make lunch while the girls sat glued to the television.
Most of the movies I found were of Disney vintage, from the 1990's to the early 2000's. Classic movies such as Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, The Fox and the Hound, Winnie the Pooh, The Jungle Book and several other movies as I only display eight tapes.

We have a ton of video tapes. These were all amazing. Beauty and the beast was great fox and the hound saw that first time at the movie theatres all of these movies were great.

Oh the memories of VHS! Dont think i ever watched any of those movies, but i remember our first video recorder from 1983. It was the size of a small car but we thought it was awesome. Remember the first thing i recorder was the Raiders Redskins superbowl. Yep im old haha 😄
I watched 👀 that game in 83 but we didn't have a recorder. I also watched 👀 the first 🏈 superbowl and several NFc Champs before AFC joined. 😁
I loved all of those. I've watched them all more time than I can count. One of my all time favorites was the old animated Robin Hood. I liked it so much, that I also had one of those book/record combos. Pretty sure I had the Jungle Book book/record also.

It is so sweet that these video tapes hold a special memory of your children. The animated Beauty and the Beast is my most favourite Disney movie! We still have our vhs tape, version. My Husband likes The Fox and the Hound movie. We just bought the Hercules dvd. We need to make the time to view it. Never seen that one before. Huge like from a Disney fan! Hello Pat great movie collection im still have some VHS tapes on my mothers house, she used to buy us to me and my brothers some disney movies, i remerber one of my favorites was the lion king movie but at those day my mother didnt notice the movie i wasnt in Spanish, the movie came just with subtitles in spanish so we get used to watching the movie in English 😆😆😆 and we learned all the songs in English , take care buddy have a nice weekend ✌😃👍

Oh man The Jungle Book was one of my favorite cartoon movies growing up. I went and saw the remake at a drive thru which wasn’t bad but nothing beats the original. I remember seeing Beauty and the Beast in our 99 cent theatre (I didn’t care and was probably too old but hey…99 cents and some movie popcorn warrants a viewing of just about anything). I’ve actually not seen Shrek but it’s one of my wife’s favorites. I still have countless VHSs at the parents house. Now even dvds are obsolete. Have a great weekend Pat
Thanks D. You have to see Shrek. We rented the local theatre (know the owners) for my eldest birthday. I had reservations about it, but I laughed and laughed throughout. Wonderful for kids and adults and it will become one of your fave animated movies.

My kids and I enjoyed Blue Sky Ice Age series. They have seen all of them. Im also opening Ice Age trading cards packs on my channel.
