Hey Adam and everywhere in the comments! My buddy and I started a video business about two years ago. It started as a side gig, and we just now made our way to full time. But now I’m faced with more struggle financially than I’ve ever faced. Maybe that’s partly due to our investments and pouring thousands and thousands of dollars into our gear, but we also thought investing in the business was the most import aspect to our entire journey. But here I am, struggling to land jobs and bring in decent money. Im trying to learn marketing tactics and network with other creatives in the space but it just feels like we are going no where. I don’t want to struggle, I’ve worked myself into the ground for years prior trying to be build something for my future. I feel like I found that something but every time we have a good month, we have a couple horrible months. I’ll never quit and I’ll sleep in my car if it ever came to that to keep this thing floating. Sorry for the sob story, I just wanted to lay it all out there for those who may have faced similar challenges. I was just curious if you had any tips for someone like me. Thank you!
Blood! It feels the same, I haven't Given up though, striving for Bettee is Key, Me and my bro we also in the build up of an music company and all that you go through, It's Real on our side too. I tend to believe i have achieved something abnormal by watching this Dude talk about marketing cause thats the only medicine in the syringe to propel in this harsh volatile markets, INTEREST graph, as I have learnt is unfolding and maybe one day we will meet in the journey of life and laugh about today and yesterday as old past days. You can also ask chatGPT to give you business ideas based on skills and interests. I'm a computer science weirdo, and even I'm blown away by its results.
Here's a prompt if you wanna try: "give me business ideas based on my skills: [list of skills], and interests: [list of interests].
You'll be amazed at the results, although they probably need some tweaking to narrow them down.

I’m just starting to make videos and my question is for someone like me that is not familiar on how to edit videos and how to put them together is there a certain way you studied on how to do this or was it just by trial and error or was there a certain app that you use or service online to learn how to edit text over voiceover spice dice you name it to videos. BTW, I agree with you about video overall. I'm finding that most people bi-pass the videos I post on FB, unless they are, by-and-large, shorter and novel. I find myself doing the same thing on FB, tending to scroll beyond videos from past bands, e.g., that I might have already seen. I tend to guard my time closely Adam. Curious if your audience does the same.

I’m a high school English teacher who wants to teach learners of all ages to be free and strong thinkers, strong and confident communicators, and inspired creators. I can’t change the education system, but I can coach students of all ages to realize their innate strengths and abilities. Whether they’re working on a project for school or work, or they’re in need of some strategies to become clearer and more confident communicators (in English), I can help.

Great information Adam, thank you. One question as it relates to demographics. CZcams still seems to have a larger Male audience, and I have a female focussed product... do you think I should put more effort toward Instagram or do you see opportunity with a female audience on CZcams.
Hey Ken, great question. The fact is that there are hundreds of millions of female users on CZcams (and many, many successful channels that appeal directly to women) so CZcams still comes out as the winner.

Hey Justin, we use Davinci Resolve but anything works fine (we used Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro in the past)
CZcamsr and influence culture has mostly turned rotten. Channels like this though that push people to improve and innovate this give me hope 🙌🏼

Hi Lu, I think there will always be a place for analytics (you need to know what's working after all) but yes a lot of those things can be sourced quickly and easily with software... that said... extracting actionable strategies from the data is a skill that most are still missing.
