Too funny, I was watching your video and realized it was my own voice I could hear in the background. I was (one of) the American(s) chatting with Baran while Annabelle was working on your pen. Huge thanks to you both and to Kee for welcoming a newbie!
It was a great show, I it was the busiest I've seen to date. I managed to spend little on a few pens and pen case, getting ready for the Birmingham show in June
Next time look for me! I'm the one with the eye patch. I figure I already look odd, may as well go all out walking around with my phone out. Most people seem to be fine with you filming them if you ask.
@@cerealnana I was seriously thinking about it but am now in the process of interviewing for a position and they've invited me to visit their campus in Germany before the next round. If I decide to go it might drain the budget, unfortunately. Edit: are you thinking of going?
Annabelle takes appointments up to 1pm, then first come. Jose is first come from the get-go. I find that there is less of a queue after the lunch hour.
I think they were about the same, with the exception of the indie makers, who usually have deals. The big advantage is being able to hold pens. I got to try a Scribo, which is super gorgeous and comfy and I wish I did not know that!

That must have been so surreal!

You are brave going to both! What pens did you get? It took a lot of strength not to buy a Harlequin from Silverburl.
Thanks! It was very cool to see what the London Show looks like!
Kinda on the small side, but I think I like that!
Amazing footage of the show! I was too nervous to film in there. This was my second London pen show and can’t wait till autumn. ❤

Thanks for sharing. That is a good size show.
It is! I am hoping to go to San Francisco this year, but can see that being very overwhelming.
Thank you for the footage of the show, this is the first time I saw one and got a feel of what they actually look like :)
Are you going to the Dutch Pen Show?

@@hanasonder I'm saving up to go and meet Cyan there.
@@hanasonder also luck to you!
@@cerealnana That does change things slightly, but I will have to see how my savings look when it's closer. I'll let you know!
Great to see what the show was like Shauna. Did you have to make appointments for the nib grinds?

Wish I had of went. Next year maybe.
There is one in October. They do it twice a year. Are you near London?
@@cerealnana I live in Norwich. That is good to know but I am going to the Newcastle pen show in September
How did pen prices compare to retail?
