    Well done again! Sure this video will help 1st timers. Suggestion: include a tin of oil Q20/marine oil. Suntan lotion incase afloat longer than planned. Drinking water. Fruit. Boiled sweets. Scissors/sharp knife if not in tool kit. Clothes incase one gets wet or

    There is a few reasons why you use your left hand to steer, sitting on the starboard side of your dinghy. It does not matter whether you are left or right handed. This is not advice that people should learn from

      You are indeed correct. There are reasons, as you've mentioned. However, at 7:05, I do mention that, as a "disclaimer".
      I have grown up using the dinghy as I do without issue. I also have the background of motorbikes, which operates with the righthand throttle, so that is more natural to me. I've come to notice that a lot of South Africans and Australians drive the dinghy righthandedly.
      Nowadays, being a full-time liveaboard, I'm practicing to be ambidextrous while operating the dink, in case I ever need to be. Apart from that, is there other info that is incorrect?
      I did mention also that I'm not a certified instructor, just a chap showing how to operate the dinghy and outboard. Nonetheless, I appreciate your feedback.
