I was in the worst anxiety and panic when I was 14. I'm 17 and feeling better and healing, I definitely feel lonely, it frustrates me how no one can understand how bad it was. But I'm glad they don't. God bless you!
I suffer from depression I get bullied at school and alot more stuff I go home and as soon as I get home I turn it on and I feel better I'm soon to be in a band been taking lessons and I'm gonna teach people about God.

I always love seeing a good behind the scenes video, especially when the singer/song writer explains what not only what the song is about, but also what the video is about and what certain things represent. The "I'm Not Dead Yet" video and song are absolutely amazing. I have literally watched that video on repeat for an hour straight. Jen Ledger has an amazing voice. She is a really good singer. and she's super cute. Great job on the song and video, Jen!

I bought the song a while back. Liked it but only tonight has it had a real impact on me. Because I’ve started to deal with the same stuff and tonight while at work I was feeling absolutely crushed, started breaking down and on the verge of another attack and just miserable but I went to play my music again (via wireless earbuds) and my phone had forgotten the soundtrack it was playing and started playing Skillet’s “This is the Kingdom” and that was good and I haven’t listened to it for a while either but I remembered there was a song Jen had done where she’d mentioned it was a situation somewhat like what I was going through (this one) and I played it and it really helped rally my spirits. Music is powerful stuff. And I’m thankful to God for this song and to Jen for writing it. I see the doc in about a week and hopefully I can get on some kind of meds.

It does indeed relate to the struggle. The only way I got out of it was thru Prayer, Faith and Hope, even when one though everything was over, it was some time ago, I am blessed God let me passed thru it so I could learned He was always there thru Jesus, and nothing will be more dark, hopeless, desperately, catastrophic than being in that perpetual emptiness sleepless void state I was, Thanks to Him, I was saved, Now I am stronger in Jesus Christ name, the devil and his lies can't hurt anymore, I'll pray for all of you who are struggling, have Faith, even the tiniest, is all you need, He knows your struggle, bear there with Him, He Loves You and Will Heal your Soul and Heart, all that sadness, emptiness, sorrow, grief will be taken away and His Joy, Love and everlasting Peace will Reign in Your Heart and Soul, Believe, even when you think is too late or over, God has a plan for You, Jesus Christ has defeated sin, pain, sickness, sorrow, grief, dead and all evil, so do not listen to the lies of the devil, Your Soul and Heart belong to God, thru Jesus, He paid the price of our sins, So the least we can do for this undeserved gift of His Grace is give our life and love to Him. Boxing in of itself, and this is me speaking as a boxer; it is more than a sport which your video definitely showed that it really is about standing and taking hit after hit, blow after blow, shot after shot. All the while you're still getting up, still fighting through it all, never quitting.
Life itself is this way as well. We're going to take heavy blows and heavy hits but in the end, you're only considered a failure if you stay down and never attempt to get up one more round

Since 2008, when you became the new drummer of the band "Skillet", I observe and follow your career with the utmost enthusiasm. "Skillet" I already know something longer, but since you're there, I have the feeling that the sound has changed in a positive sense. I liked that very much. And now look at you. 10 years have passed and you are in the prime of your life, with even more energy and surprise me again and again.
Now I'm just listening to the release of your first solo album and I think wow, the power woman with the voice of an angelic same, has made it. And rightly so. Already with the song "Salvation", from the album "Rise" by "Skillet", I get downright goosebumps with your singing and my eyes start to water. Because it was so full of devotion and soulful as you just sang in this song, I'm always fascinated and excited about the newest. Just because of this song, I was sure that you will hear more from you.
And now it's time for your first album. It was certainly a hard road for you, but it was worth fighting for and working hard. And I want to thank you for that. Especially for the song "Not dead yet". Even stronger, more soulful, but still with the same angelic voice. Although it also comes to me stronger, and at the same time so full of emotions and the passion to do what you do. Namely to sing, and with singing to put your feelings and all your emotions into your songs and share them with us.

Love this! I think some of us have more darkness in us than others. I think that is because we are meant to really make a difference and get attacked more. People who have been through hell and by God's grace came through it are inspiring. I work in the mental health field and while knowledge is important, it's the personal stuff that makes it difference. It's testimonies that change lives.
