i like the fact that u have love for both JDM and USDM cars. I am very happy that in our generation, we have people who are accepting of both markets and swapping things for one or the other unlike it was back in the 90s and early 2000s.

Yeah unless its a 2JZ inline six, 4AGE(AE-86 motor), or 3S-GTE(turbo MR2 motor) there is ZERO aftermarket for Toyota engines. Toyota makes great engines, but the factory really doesn't want you messing with them. I will give GM some credit when they designed the LS motors, they knew their customer base wanted an engine that could be tinkered with and hot-rodded.
Aaron Bays except for the Magnusson superchargers for all Tacomas except the Gen3, and a few generations of the 4Runner.

Awesome seeing you actually using power tools now Tom, as a mechanic it was hard work watching you hand ratchets every thing and thought how you just couldn't do that in a workshop now. So glad your using quality tools as well.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I was hoping this would be the Tom version of the Sloppy Don't BS Me build, and I wasn't disappointed. So happy to see two of my favorite car channels doing what is essentially a crossover series/build.

I was super stoked that you had a video series about doing a Tacoma, I watched your Miata one and since I actually own a Tacoma I was thinking this is perfect. Then I realized this video came out today. I was so sad because I wanted to binge watch the full series today. However I am still excited to watch your project unfold! Perhaps I will follow suit with mine!
