I found one of these in the trash. Very, very filthy and cracked plastic on the beaterhead. I cleaned it and plastic welded the broken part and it works great!
Well done. Same happened to me. It's unbelievable how much stuff people throw away that could still serve them many years.
Just found one in the trash too, trying to figure out how the wand part of the handle comes off. It doesn’t want to lift up.
I've had mine for years and it's got more power than those new battery powered ones. I love it. Just have to replace the bottom because the plastic broke.
I found one of these left outside by the bins. didnt think it would be working but by jove it works great & the suction is amazing. took me while to figure out how to get the handle part off thats why I looked this up. But you need to extend the pole fully before it will release. worth carrying home on me bike! this is fourth upright vacuum Ive found in past month & they all work great. I have Vax, Bissell, Panasonic & now the Daddy of them all Dyson. They are like my adopted children. well actually i sold the panasonic. Im seeling all my children I have no shame.
Thank you. I've been trying to figure out how to use the handle. You are my hero
i wish there was sound on this video to compare the sound of a "perfectly" running vacumn compared to one that's not running so well.
i love this vaccum
I love it
Gracias ❤
Are the bristle rollers supposed to be rotating when vac is in use?
Hi Pat, thanks for getting in touch. Yes they're supposed to spin when in use. Please get in touch via our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts if you require assistance in this regard. We look forward to hearing from you.
Why yall upload this now. I doubt y'all still even sell this model.
Ik so random init 😂😂😂
Mines 2 days old.
Should the ball get hot
It's normal for your machine's motor to generate a certain amount of heat as it runs, and as the motor is housed within the Ball assembly, the Ball shell may also feel warm after a period of use. The motor is protected by a safety device which will shut the machine off if it becomes excessively hot - this would only normally occur due to a blockage, or because the filters are very overdue for a wash.
1:35 the fucking vacuuum doesnt work like that i have a dc25 im trying to use the fucking hose and it doesnt fucking come out
i literally can not get it out
@@Redfruitella can you tell I was pissed when I wrote that? LMFAO. You just unlocked a lost memory of me being hella pissed at my moms vacuum lololol. We actually got it to come out as shown a few times but it always got stuck. It's a design flaw with age I'm guessing.
No sound.
🤔🤔
Its Basically an instructional guide so it doesn't need audio plus this video is from 2011 so basically reupload
relaunched new model but less expensive
The sound isn’t working!
Why is there no sound? Movies added sound over a century ago! Didn’t Dyson get the memo?
They released this model 12 years ago. Why did they upload this video now. This vacuum was discontinued years ago
Maybe because we were all in quarantine so they were getting used alot more than in day-to-day life and some people didn't know how to use them.
@@okiamsaqib Quarantine?
okay but how the fuck do i use the hose!!! terrible engineering got the whole house trying to figure it out
If you own a dyson or shark. Please wash your filters every other week and empty the dust bin every single time you use it.
If you do not like dumping the dust bin every single time, buy a bagged vacuum they are far cleaner anyways.
Biggest piece of shit i ever owned.
