"K-Arts In Sight" - In Sight The Best Art University in South Korea (feelings, the system, fears)

- This is a short documentary film about campus life at the best art university in South Korea, Korea National University of Arts. I try to potray many situations in this university in my short stay here.
This story is devided in to 5 chapter
1.Emptiness - potraying how students are streesed out and feel empty at the best art uni
2.Drama of competitiveness - potraying how hard the students of the school of drama compete to enter and struggle to graduate from this university
3.Connecting the disconnected - potraying the "individualistic" and disconnected students in K Arts
4.The Method : A sneak peek : potraying the educational system in K Arts
5.Pain for perfection: potraying the hard life of ballet students trying to reach perfect performances
K Arts in Sight is totally different from my previous work as a journalist, this story is more about me trying to understand or maybe sometimes also misunderstanding things too.
But I'm just a visitor so I am not judging, just only showing how i feel, what i saw and found in my short stay at K-Arts. Enjoy!

This is my dream university
This is how I want my college life to be. Fully busy with no time to interact with people. I don't want to interact with anyone. I love working.

Other people’s views can get you great inspiration tho. I find it gets you out of your own bubble and your work gets more inspiring to others. I love working too but if I close of completely my work becomes a bit unrelatable. Just something i found out as an art-student. Goodluck and I hope your dream comes true! Xx

Totally agree...its no.1 art uni in South Korea shes wonderful...also Park Sodam in Parasite
K-Arts is like a med school where students learn theory and apply them from the very first day of their university life. They're already immersed in their profession and it's definite unlike the regular universities. Hence, it's obvious to be like this nonetheless this few years hardship allow 'em for better future in today's competitive society.
Really sad to see their stress but didn't realize that they really doing the best for their own major.

I’ve been studying in an art school for about 7 years ( 3y in high school of art and 4y in uni), I felt the way like they’ve been through. Art school is really hard tho😬 but it’s worth the sacrifice cos I’m doing what I really want. Currently I’m preparing for my master degree in K’Arts

@@titanboo9520 well kkkk i didn't even try. the process of just TRYING was too expensive for me and also i realized that i was too young for it (i was 17 to 18 yr). now im in college (doing fine arts) so i decided to wait and maybe, in the future i'll try a graduate school there

This is my dream university, but, to be honest I'm kinda scared, I want to be a choreographer, I will give my all to try to get into the university as a dance student in about 2 years :]

i'm brazilian and i really want to get into K'Arts for graduation in film, TV and multimedia, but a i have no experience in the area, any job to put into my portfolio. In brazil it's complicated because we don't have incentive for these things. What shoul i do? please help me

Uummm they have scholarship for international student and also exchange student...but all of the classes in korean ;)

However I have a question. I completed my Bachelors in Economics in 2021 and I want to study MFA in Stage Design from Karts. I went through the eligibility criteria, watched a couple of You Tube videos as well but due to the availability of information I got confused. Could you please let me know whether I am actually eligible for the program because I am very confused and will have to devote an year for its preparation

@@deenawave4903 i think its also depend on the person, u still can have your social life outside uni :) but when u study in uni yess they really focus on their works...its hard but am sure u can handle it, all my Indonesian friend can get through this :)
