I Bought A Yamaha TTR 110 To Build Into A Fully MODIFIED Pit Bike!

Join me while I build this stock Yamaha TTR 110E dirt bike into a fully modified Pit Bike! I have so many aftermarket upgraded parts from a 130cc big bore kit to an upgraded carburetor to beefed up upgraded suspension... Let's get this pit bike build on the way!

Doing mods myself to a TTR110. An easy mod is to remove the starter clutch from the flywheel, ditch the reduction gear and support shaft, the big roller wheel, and the starter. I then fabed up an aluminum cover to bolt on where the starter used to be. Remove the battery, starter solenoid and battery box. this weight reduction is very cool because it now allows the motor to "rev up" quicker because the lighter mass on the crankshaft. I also split the cases and modified the area where the cylinder drops in, I needed to do this to install the 143cc big bore kit,. Then it got the big valve head with cam & roller rockers, big intake manifold with 22mm carb, BBR fork springs/damper rods up front and a DNM shock on back, Tall bars, tall BBR seat, better pegs, Big Gun pipe, all new plastics with new graphics. Going to replace the rims with aluminum ones so I can show my students how to lace & true a wheel. I teach Motorcycle -ATV-Snowmobile repair at a Tech High School and this is a student based project. So far so good! She's gonna rip

I am curious how much better the EFI 110 is than a perfectly jetted carb 110

It makes a negligible difference in power. However, there are other disadvantages to carbs, like having to rejet for altitude and much more matenance.
