I always feel our malayali brothers are lucky to have got an opportunity to take birth in Kerala .... God bless the land with much more greenery m peace 🙏
How blessed they are to own such a beautiful and a nostalgic house.. may god bless everyone with a house they dream of..
Interiors needed more kerala touch..but from an external viewpoint, the kerala factor is just mesmerizing !!
The beauty of the swollen river, the green trees, the spacious home, the airy enclosures, the rustic outdoor flooring, the plush interiors... this is what resort living should be. Living in this beautiful home must be akin to living in a luxury spa. Such class such beauty and fabulous creation. Congratulations to the proud and happy owners and well done to the team that built this beautiful home.

My dream house ... Kerala traditional house near river with lots of greenery yet spacious to play around the house open to nature .... it’s just my dream house .... hope god give us one Ameen ... stay blessed
I grew up in Cochin, 90's Cochin was bliss, responsible people and friendly neighborhood. Internal arrangement in the house could have more native touch..
Architect has done his job.
The people who living inside need obviously modern facilities. Change is inevitable. There is no force that can stop it. Its the law of nature
As an Interior student and as a person who likes peace and calmness, I love this house so much!!!
Extremely enchanting and beautiful. Congratulations to the owner, Architect and all the people involved.
Just looking at the house in this video calmed me immensely, can’t fathom what the occupants of the house feel day in day out residing in it...
They did a beautiful job. Kudos to the owners to have kept the original structure as it is.. Old is gold
Its extremely beautiful.. im awestruck.. usually i always see something sticking awkwardly when people show that their house is about traditional design... this ine was an exception.. the music definitely is in harmony with the home's simplicity and tranquilty.
You should be proud.
I have a traditional chettinad house, these traditional houses are a treasure
Serene and beautiful.. This is called traditional house.. It's a dream home 💖
The swing was so breathtaking... I wish I had that in my Kerala home...
This is such a quiet , softly balanced home . It respects the old and welcomes the new .
Interiors ..not good, but the outer atmosphere was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Its amazing...this is exactly what i want in my home
As the state's been more prone to massive floods in the last 5-10 years, having a house and that too of this level of magnificence, right next to a large river, does seem to invoke a bit of concern. Having said that, I'd love to hear if this has ever crossed the minds of the owners, engineers and that architects and if so, what all measures or design choices have been taken against this.
Had the same thought as I watched this video. Having been in my ancestral home in Chengannur during the 2018 floods, one thing that provided me solace was the fact that I had a terrace (which I hated until that day) so if things go *really* bad there's atleast a chance of me being airlifted to safety. Something most of my neighbours with their traditional roofs didn't have. Luckily, it didn't go up to that extent in my part of the town still I have this thought everytime I visit a new house which lies in a flood prone area (which as you know increased dramatically post 2018 because Chengannur isn't a place that's known for floods unlike neighbouring Kuttanad).
You are lucky to be born in God's own country and you are really blessed to live in such a heavenly house.. I love the entire house and especially nadu muttam backyard river view😍😍😍... Mesmerizing View.. Like don't know wat to say.. I really love the house nothing can give you such heavenly feel except nature..😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰
Gods country ruled by aethists
Joseph could have to speak in clear Malayalam since he had lack of clarity and sounded like he struggled to explain what’s in his mind though the work is amazing. Well done the lady who expressed herself so well😊
Great combo of traditional and Modern! 💚💚💚👏🏾👏🏾
the house is simple but the most important of this video is about the view point and as well as green part that beautiful
Classy and fabulous work. Beautiful view from outside. Interiors need more Kerala touch✨
One of the beautiful house that I have ever seen.hats off to the architect.
liked kitchen ambience at 3:16
No gaudy decor filled with modern art ir craft. So holistic!
Great blend of traditional with modern touches...beautiful house and layout
Traditional vibes 🍁 🦋 ❤️love and care unconditionally ❤️
Awesome video.
Thank you🌹 mam for giving interview in Malayalam. It's has given soul to this video. 💖
Any way Super house ...❤❤❤
Beautifully executed..!!! 👌👌👌
Great work..!!!
beautiful, can someone please tell me what are those four sets of chains hanging in the centre? is it rain water harvesting because they seem to be under a part of the roof where rainwater will end up being collected because of the slopes on all sides
A river side house... simply awesome...
Iam coming back and posting, after a week.
Can’t believe you guys messed up a house like that
Iam from allepy, there is a house like this near my place. Just sitting there is amazing. Your house gives me mechanical vibes
GOD'S OWN COUNTRY - KERALA 😍🌴🌴
This is dope !
But pralayam is a worrying element especially with a river that close isn't it?
I was wondering what if there was a Situation like the recent Kerala floods in which the same River Menachil was flooded for a week and many adjoining areas of Kottayam town were inundated including our Mother's native Village Tiruvarppu where we used to happily bathe in the same River during our childhood days!!! Haven't the learned architect Thought About it and he didn't mention what were the precautions taken by him while designing the Renovation of the house and what will be the water receeding levels of the garden area which is just less than 25 meters from the river bed and flowing water???
What a stunning house, so sensitively renovated! Loved the furniture!!
The great flood of 2018 -- Was this house affected ? This nice house is too close to Meenachil river.........I would like to know.
Nowadays luxury houses with water frontage makes the owners uncomfortable for some reasons.
I was going to ask the same
@Love Kerala from Pakistan. hi namaskaram bro/sis
Indeed a great work, a perfect synchronization of the natural ambience of the environment with classic design. The outflow of interior to the outer lawn seems flawless. It signifies a great taste of the owner and perfect understanding of the owners requirement by the architect and designers.
I keep coming back to view this tour..its par excellence.
A fabulous dream house indeed... but I wouldn't recommed building your house right next to a river in Kerala!! If you know, you know...
We are living outside India for the past 40 years. But prefer to hear from you in malayalam since you difficult to convey the theme, and struggling. We want to hear in Malayalam . You can give subtitles in english please. Any way the house is beautiful.
Regards Thomas from South Africa
Lol 😂😂😂😂
Can't even dream a house like this !!!!!!!
Nice architecture and aesthetics but just needs a little more light inside the house.
Awsome works and good atmosphere.
I didn’t feel tht u did the interior works like a Kerala traditional touch...
However awesome works..
It would be better if u you had shown in before and after format
Nostalgic and beautiful house! Truly God's own country! How much it costs to buy such a house?
God's own country that's the beauty . Simple and elegant love it
Love the layout. Riverside location is super. Central courtyard is so special.
Really amazing.. its a Heaven 😍
Changing my mind, the my actual dream house now is this
Was this house affected in pralayam 2018
The interiors lost its Kerala style
Correction: There is no North Indian style. It is a misnomer.
@@anandrv81 true
@@anandrv81 North India is huge, northern part also has Western and Eastern sides, these parts never get recognition. They are very different from "North India".
Them hybrid french windows adds a great touch.
Mind Blowing.... Heavenly Beautiful 🥰
woaaw !! I dream of sucha beautiful home, Kudos to the team , woaaw !!!
Wow..❤traditional vibes. Awesome work
Best house I have seen in my life
pls share the commercials to construct the same house in Gurgaon! what is the dimension of the plot?
The vintage design of the building is lost. That heritage look of an old taravadu you guys spoiled it. It looks good from the outside but the interiors became so much modern
For the record.. the English commentary is not a transliteration of the Malayalam one.
Wish to be there. Wonderfully designed..😊
Now that meenachil is over flowing during floods, how much are you impacted?
What happens in case of floods, which are quite frequent in Kerala. And with river so close what are the options?
great job done... love the earthy feels...
beautiful and warm house..big fan of the design and can't miss the location..the greenery is so nostalgic, feels like home!! Kerala is a beautiful land, ppl are educated and beautiful, just hate the jawblowing firecracker the ppl have been using lately on elephants(irrelevant but i had to mention), we are not responsible as long as we dont intend to share this beauty n bounty with other rightful creatures!!
I don’t understand. Firecracker are not used every day. No one uses elephants for transport. If they are used on special occasion why is it an issue. Don’t people use horses, when there is no need of it. Horse racing is not banned anywhere. I don’t hear anyone crying about it.Don’t few celebrities burst year worth crackers in there weddings. Doesn’t world celebrates new year with crackers. This is to irrelevant. We are using energy to use internet for the same . Imagine how much environment we are taxing in doing this.
Me, a non Kerlite:- *pretends to know what she is saying.*
😀
Same here 😂
Wow. Beautiful house in a wonderful location.
Outdoor awesome
Renovation good if u retain the old house as it is
classic and elegant..... loved your work
Having an AC in 0:48 is such a turn off for the traditional house especially where the nature is good
Just beautiful. I wish to have a house like this.
How lucky to have a beautiful house like this....
True
Can you please indicate at what price we can buy such a beautiful house at such great location..??
It’s Awesome home. Feeling very nostalgic 😍
Sir you have created a home with homely character
Yay!!! I was the 200th subscriber
Nice traditional house designs. Superb
Very beautiful, spacious 🏘️ love it
So beautiful and so much care to keep it beautiful.
Yes, thank you
Now a days river side house are under threat with repeatedly occurring flood. Especially in ernakulam
വെള്ളപൊക്കം ഉണ്ടാവുമ്പോൾ വെള്ളം കയറാറുണ്ടോ ?
You deserve more views and subscribers brother....
The interiors have killed whatever beauty the location and surroundings had! This is so sad. Could have been such a beautiful, traditional house in such gorgeous surroundings. But it ends up as neither-here-nor-there in the name of utility! 😥
What a dumb rejuvenation done by this architect , Kerala Hindu traditional homes are completely based on temple architectural style when a designer from other religion try to build it will end up like this . This home lost the soul of their religion , cause a Hindu traditional home means it recall the living & cultural style belong to their own religion , now this home looks like a christian home which always addressing a search of tradition but there will be nothing like that .
So the house is for beauty and not utility.
@@blackmagician3078 Then they need not have made any renovation to the home in the first place.
@@AJ-uw9oe Nice try! 😄
@@blackmagician3078 True in a sense, that cultural background of architect could influence aesthetic sense . But have seen many Christian, Muslim architects who have intaken Hindu aesthetics and delivered great works.
What did nambothiri did to the residence back in the days?
I love the vintage timber furniture.
What is traditional except the colour of roof tiles? It is not good to be traditional as western style is more alluring to eyes and what is the point in selective following.
Nice home❤️
Neatly renovated..👍
Thousand likes!! Super loved 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Traditional house are best. You dont see them much these days

Can U pls tell me what u use for flooring in varanda [river side]?
Beautiful
Beautifully done Elegant understated design
Fabulously done
House and the background 🥰
🥰🥰
W/this hous being so close to the river, won't the river overflow? What is there to prevent that?
Creative team work .
