- Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2013 Peugeot 208 three door hatchback with the 1.6 litre Prince turbocharged petrol engine producing 197hp/200PS paired to a 6-speed manual in the GTi trim.
Below is the list of current 208 three door hatchback variants available in Malaysia as of 16th October 2017. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

Did Malaysia get the XY trim? This version of the GTI looks like they've tried to combine the XY and GTI trims to offer the best of both - for example, the UK XY gets the panoramic roof and arm rest but the GTI doesn't, and front sensors and Park Assist are options for the XY.

Hi Alex, how heavy are is the door? Let's say you're parked on a hill, how hard is it to open the door and does it stick open on uphill or does the heavy door make it very hard for it to stay open on an uphill?
I've got one and they car be a pain to open on a hill, however it's forgivable when you consider how good the rest of the car is

As of 2014 model 208 GTI in Malaysia, not 2013.
The 208 GTi was introduced in Malaysia in 2013.
How does a 2013 model have the facelift car’s rear lights?
As mentioned in the video, this pre-facelift 208 GTi has been fitted with the rear lights from the facelifted model.
For the benefit of Josh, apparently easy to do... purchase the new lights from Peuget (about £100 each) and its a straight swap.

I don't think it's fair to compare two cars from different segments. One's a B-segment hatchback and the other is a mid-size crossover SUV. These two cars will appeal to different sets of people.
