- Congratulations to my Genesis teammates for crushing the Lucent Citadel World Record and achieving another Unstoppable, improving the World's First Unstoppable WR score also set by Genesis by almost 3 full minutes - just a week or so prior.
My POV on Arcanist DD: • Genesis | Lucent Citad...
This was just my 6th time or so off-tanking his trial, so gameplay-wise there's a ton of improvements that could be made. Ambition wanted to put up a semi-decent score before Genesis goes on break, so we did a very quick prog with a few strat improvements while I learnt to tank the trial.

I have potentates on because I've been ulting twice in the last phase, but we've gotten so fast that I don't even ult the 2nd time anymore. Icky and I are using minor courage/intellect scribing skills so a DD doesn't have to run Zenas.

Arcane Knot:
I utilize Vibrant Shroud and a new scribing ability Leashing Soul to keep up Major Maim and Major Cowardice on Xoryn for Chain Lightnings; if both debuffs and Weakening are up, DDs that do not block generally do not get one-shot, though we have DDs block anyway. I played the Arcane Knot encounter very conservatively, since I'm not used to the incoming damage profile of this trial yet.

I developed this addon so Genesis would have the leading edge on alerts and timers for the trial.
Code did a lot of work into making CCA pretty feature complete for Lucent Citadel this time around, so I've removed a lot of features from LCH as time went on and debated against even releasing the addon at all. This addon is essentially now just custom CCA "extensions" I maintain for Genesis plus support for Icons.

Are Sorcs a tank possibility in score hunting or as well in "normal" progress raids?😅
Sorc tanks are in quite a good spot. In score pushing they have access to streak for getting ahead for prepulls and stuff. They are also the best class for dealing with direct damage with access to bound aegis, which is quite powerful against the ice atros in the knot encounter. Arcanist DDs are also much stronger than any other spec in this trial, so bringing a sorc support made sense. These statements also apply to “normal” prog raids where you’re valuing consistency and safety over speed.

I want to get in touch with raiding/dungeons as a tank, but I am a beginner and have no clue which classes are good for it except Dragonknight, which I don't really fell.
@@viraas1928 in terms of tanking relevance in the PVE scene, I would say DK > Necro > Sorc > Warden > Arcanist >>> Templar > Nightblade. However, each class still has a tanking kit that makes it viable to clear every piece of content in the game. It's just a question of how difficult it would be and how much support you want to bring to the group.
