- Sweetgrass Baskets are an African American tradition that dates back hundreds of years. Weaver and Charleston, SC native Jerame Smalls learned the craft from his grandmother. Today he lives in Charlotte and owns 1721 Creations. He sells his baskets and custom made pieces online while continuing this traditional craft.

Such talent, I wonder if he would include a course for those of us who are of French, Spanish… so on decent. I’d spend 2 weeks down south just to learn this artisans technique
