I had a similar experience 8 years ago, it turned out that the problem was caused by gluten intolerance. In addition to the ear problem, I had many other symptoms, which the doctors ignored. After three months without gluten, corn, and rice, all symptoms literally disappeared 🙏🏻 I wish you a speedy return to full health! 🙏🏻🫶🏼

I already eat gluten/dairy/soy free, and don't eat processed foods - but I think it's a fantastic idea to delve deeper into some other areas I can improve on; like maybe rice or corn or other grains could be an issue for me as well and I have never realized it - thank you so much ❤
@@lisabillsonCorn and rice are gluten mimicking foods (molecular mimicry). You have to be completely grains and pseudo grains free 😌 It's worth trying at least for a certain time 🤗

hi lisa i feel you totally. i had sudden loss of low frequency hearing in my left ear back in 2009 but i did not realise it straightaway. it was also impossible to find the cause of it and the doctor believed that a bad flu some months prior caused it, after a process of elimination. the condition was rare in my case as well, because although it’s quite common to lose high frequency hearing (this is the one related to constant exposure to loud noise or high pitch sounds) it isn’t at all for low frequency. all symptoms you described were what i experienced - echoes, tinnitus, dizziness, reduced balance… sounds were also magnified in my left ear which means that i couldn’t function without earplugs (back then) which transitioned over time to in-ear noise-cancelling earbuds. thing is, i regained my hearing eventually after 3 months or so but the sensitivity remained & never went away. i also became susceptible to vertigo & had 2 major episodes (bedridden) & 2 minor ones that each happened onboard long-haul flights during the same trip (very stressful - this was recent too, in 2022). the greatest change was social interraction because crowds & lights & sounds just become too much. i’ve always had low blood pressure so being momentarily dizzy was relatively common & wasn’t a « new » challenge so to speak. in fact i didn’t know normal people got up from deckchairs by the pool without having that 2 second spell of dizziness. or when they reclined at the dentist’s or at the hairdresser’s basin for a hairwash. all these just became more pronounced for me.
i hope that you regain as much as possible of your health very soon, and sincerely hope that your symptoms will be manageable 💗

It is such a challenge and can be so frustrating dealing with the whole medical system and not feeling heard. I did hear that it is more common to have issues with low frequency with sudden hearing loss, mine is high frequency oddly!!! I am so happy you regained your hearing, but I am sorry to hear that you still struggle with the other issues that accompany the hearing loss! That sounds so scary - I hope that you find more answers and that you don't have to deal with any more of those symptoms! I am sorry Lisa. I have a hearing condition as well, when I was diagnosed as a teenager my father, who is a shy man of few words came into my room and said “When there is something ‘wrong’ with someone, there is often something extra good about them as well and I feel that is true for you.” I remember feeling so…complete, despite having a “deficit.”

Oh Lisa!!! Xoxo ❤❤❤ I am so sorry and this must be really scary! Hearing loss is personal to me as well. My 14 year old son failed his Hearing test at birth in the hospital and I was so scared!! I left the hospital with my baby boy not knowing if he could hear at all, but he could! Jordan has moderate sensoneural hearing loss and has had hearing aids since he was a baby. I literally read thousands of pages, read to him every single night before bed for 12 years because I didn't want his speech or language skills to be behind. He's doing great and is an A & B student. Just know technology has soared in the past decade and there is hope for something that may help. Big Hugs!!! Sarah

Thank you, our princess. Stay on the path of healing now, no matter what helps and what does not. Research on ur own, even tinnitus, because there are similarities. It seems to be not only ur overall health, nutrition, but, also neurological. There are remedies. I've researched a lot. Do not buy into any fear the medical profession causes u. Many people testify to their healing despite scary statistics and prognosis es. Bless you!

Hi Lisa, I’m so sorry to hear what you’re dealing with right now. Hyperbaric treatment is amazing! It really works, just takes time. (Side effect is anti-aging). Please don’t worry about filming. Of course we will all be here when you feel like filming again. Sending you love and prayers for a quick recovery. Have you thought of having an extensive food allergy panel run but someone in integrative medicine. Food allergies, which I have many, can trigger sudden hearing loss. Just a thought. Focus on healing and know you are in all our hearts.

I actually have thought of a food allergy panel, but after talking with a few people, I decided it would be best to follow an AIP diet to try and determine my own food allergies (as I know the tests aren't always 100% reliable and come up with allergies with the foods you eat the most often) - hoping the AIP diet will be helpful, but if not, that's okay to! Hyperbaric definitely helped a lot! I didn't get full resolution, but did get an improvement, so grateful for any slightly improvement! ❤

I definitely want to try the Suqqu foundation - the only thing holding me back is finding the correct shade as since I am in Canada I would have to order off Selfirdges and they do not allow international returns! If you have any idea on a shade that would be amazing, but this has been on my wishlist for a while now!! Thank you for recommending it!! @@lisabillson Just a little uplifting message… Some years ago, my sis-in-law, who had been diagnosed w/ MS, attending law school in a wheelchair, traveled to Canada to have hyperbaric treatments. Her stepfather, who was a Canadian resident and diver, insisted she come and try it out and he would cover all expenses. After treatment, amazingly, she was able to climb a full flight of stairs, unassisted! ✨❤️

I am SO SO sorry to hear (ironic there but dunno how to phrase it otherwise) about your sudden hearing loss. I don’t want to add to the stress you are going through, but I hope they did brain scans when they evaluated you, because that is most likely a neurological issue. If not it may be worth it to press for a neurologist to see you. I know it is a lot harder in Canada to get in to see specialists than it is in the US but like you said it is important to try to recover your hearing. I am really sorry you are going through this. My husband and I have each been grieving different losses over the past year and it definitely feels like an illness. Sometimes a wave of panic and depression will just hit and then with time we notice them less and less. On the upside, they say that even if someone loses a limb, on average it takes only 6 months to emotionally return to the level of happiness they had before, so if you were a happy person before a loss, you will be a happy person again. From my experience that is really true. So when it is really hard just remind yourself that no matter what the results of this situation are, you are going to be okay and even if it is bad, you will adapt. ❤❤❤

Thankfully, my ENT did order an MRI - so hopefully that will be done in the next few months! I have dry skin, can i use this prada foundation? Is this better tham cle de peau natural radiant and radiant cream foundation? Because i use those.😊
The Prada foundation is definitely more matte than those Cle De Peau foundations!...however I have dry skin and it still works wonderful on my dry skin! I wouldn't say the Prada foundation is better, but it's different! It's a bit more pore blurring and mattifying / long lasting on the skin ❤

Nope! The ENT I am seeing said that usually is not an issue with sudden hearing loss - most likely it came from a random virus!
