Excellent Video! The flaps 5 was so the aircraft could meet the climb performance, flaps 25 only helps an earlier rotate, defects the climb performance. Cheers!

Understandable at orange county or noise sensitive areas, but there's only water under us. Thank you for this info

That’s a steep AoA after rotation

That is a LOT of weight to be moving down the runway! Fuel load for a transcon flight,passengers,baggage--wouldn't be surprised if,due to weight and balance, the passenger count was intentionally reduced--Boeing knew what they were doing when they designed the -800 series! Flying from ET to PT,did you have any time zone jet lag?

The plane was fully sold out, actually oversold. They used to weight restrict this route (limit passengers) with 737s before they moved to a321N's which had no problem. For some reason they snuck 737s back into the route for a few months, and this one wasn't capped. My guess is the slimline seats that are present in the oasis/kodiak planes that weren't in the ex aa 737s (they're lighter seats without ife) or there was less cargo underneath.

I did not have really any jetlag, I fly to the west coast a lot as you can see from my channel. 3hrs isn't too bothersome
