  • In this video, I talk about my life with obsessive-compulsive disorder, and how I have struggled with this horrible condition, from the age of about ten years old until, being at the age of fifty-one years old. present day
I talk about how my obsessive-compulsive disorder started, this being having trouble closing doors and turning off appliances which I new could cause danger.
I also talk about how my obsessive-compulsive disorder changed, to worrying about my family, and all my relationship with my wife.
I then talk about what I have tried to do throughout my life, so as to try and deal with my mental illness.
I talk about how I have always obtained help from my doctor even from an early age, and also had visits to a doctor who treats mental illness.
I talk about how i believe it is very important to take medication, and how I believe it has helped me throughout my life.
I then talk about what I believe is the best ways to help ourselves to cope with our illness.
I talk about how doing activities, which causes us to be distracted from our thoughts are in my opinion, the best way to help ourselves to beat our mental illness, exercising, watching tv hobbies are all great ways to help our mind to change our negative thinking.
I then urge my audience to try and take positive action and to start putting in place some of these positive methods that I have spoken about.

This helped me. I for years thought I was broken, I was born off. When in reality I was struggling with a disorder that had no off-switch despite my mental warfare constantly challenging my level of control over it. But now this video itself depicts an individual with OCD, not an OCD individual. Thank you

Great vlog and I know exactly where you're coming from as I've struggled with OCD for years and years myself.
