- Chennai-Old Mahabalipuram Road(OMR) or IT Corridor is a major road in suburban Chennai, India, beginning at the Madhya Kailash temple in Adyar in South Chennai and continuing south till Mahabalipuram in Kanchipuram district.
Now, we have covered in the Aerial video up to Kalavakkam which is 32 kms from Madhya Kailash Temple, Adyar. In this video we have given the approximate information about ongoing & up-coming Real-Estate projects in OMR, Showing IT companies, Hotels and the huge development of OMR.

This is popularly called as the 'IT Corridor' because this stretch has become home to many IT/ITES companies. This road is State highway-49A.
The corridor, an ambitious six-lane project with service lanes and landscaping, is still in the making. The first phase - 20.1 km from Madhya Kailash junction in Adyar to Siruseri - was to have been opened by 2005. Phase 2 between Siruseri and Mahabalipuram is in developing stage.

Oh Old Mahabalipuram Road has been changed entirely than 1997.Thanks for giving the areal view.Can you give any old photographs or videos of Sholinganallur during 1997-2000 period.We are searching for that a long period onwards.

OMR stretch would witness a huge spike in near future …..Land rates I meant , huge development work is in the pipe line (elevated Metro, Link road connection ,5 approved flyover connection, Cycling and bike pedestrians, Longest bridge ) you get everything from A-Z in the OMR corridor... Water& sewage issues could be sorted because govt is working on sea water transportation to the entire south link..... via pipe line

You have fulfilled a dream that somebody makes a video by drone, this way you understand the area better - because you are getting a bird's eye view of that area . I had seen some videos with "some" drone footage, but my God your video is full drone view feast. Plus captions for landmarks & big buildings, you have not left anything-----what a studious effort. (Keep the captions smaller, they were big and were obstructing the view and keep them at such a spot that it does not obstruct anything significant). Now that you have made 100% drone video, make one where when some important area come, you come down to the ground and show that area from the road level. The result: one will feel that he has been to that city. Anyway you are the first to execute the idea of covering the entire metropolis through drone camera and you deserve lots of praise & appreciation for your courage and hard work. Siruseri navalur thoriapakkam will be a hot of the city within a few years. If we left to invest here now we will never get a chance to purchase a home in Siruseri. All top schools are focusing now in Siruseri. Top Malls, schools, hospitals, colleges are in 5 kms surroundings.
