Very good advice. Secular humanism and ecumenism are the death of the soul. I am subscribing to your CZcams channel. Thank you.

As someone with a small child and another on the way, I can´t help being afraid of the future. Not for me, but for them, and for all children being born right now. I hope to God that the innocent will be spared from the brutality and tyranny or a society devolving into madness and chaos. But I trust that He will intervene.
4 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! Thou hast set me at large when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? How long will ye love vanity and seek after lies? Selah
3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for Himself; the Lord will hear when I call unto Him.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not; commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
6 There are many that say, “Who will show us any good?” Lord, lift Thou up the light of Thy countenance upon us.
7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time when their corn and wine increased.
8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for Thou Lord only, makest me dwell in safety.

Fr. Deacon, this set-up was much better than the one you currently have. Audio is much better, lighting is much better, and, of course, you have that glorious background. All the best to you 🙏

have you read/heard of Jason Reza Jorjani? he comes from the Nietzschean god-man and parapsychology point of view, and he talks about Atlas and Prometheus and how they represent technology (techno/'craft') and godlike abilities of course. he has a couple interviews on RedIceRadio about his book and those archetypes and his parapsychology studies. its interesting just to hear his thoughts on these things and to see how it all relates to modernism and our ability to do such good or such bad with our will and our ability to create technology and how that can relate to our godless superman orientation and how all this relates to the "religion of the future" as Fr Seraphim Rose talks about

Is this the significance of the tower of Babel? I think that common language and discourse is a major driver of technology. Having millions, hundreds of millions, even billions of minds in communication increases the chance that minds may learn from one another. With that technology grows.

This was fantastic! I am studying “Atheism and Atheisms” at Aberdeen University here in the UK as part of my Divinity degree there. We have just covered much of this, but I wonder if you have any recommendations in terms of Nietzsche and his “God is dead” maxim, and how that has affected society today? Books, lectures and so on? Don’t worry if you haven’t the time to reply - I know you are very busy. Subscribed and sending thanks for your work from the UK!

Father Ananias, what do you think of Christos Yannaras work? I'm having a hard time understanding his works, especially the one called "Freedom of Morality".

Eastern Orthodoxy is idolatry... There is only one God as the bible teaches and Jesus never claimed to be God. God is distinct from creation, he is the creator and not the creation. May God guide you to truth, with love.
