Do you have a program to help with raising neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine and epinephrine and histamine? Mines are low and wanted to know how to increase them.
Thank you for watching the video. Increasing Norepinephrine and Epinephrine:
Diet and Nutrition: Ensure you have a healthy diet that supports neurotransmitter production. For norepinephrine, for instance, you need adequate levels of carnitine, which is typically produced by your liver and kidneys, so there's no need for supplementation if you're eating well and keeping these organs healthy. Vitamin D is also necessary for the formation of norepinephrine and can be obtained from sunlight and fortified foods.
Exercise: Engage in regular physical activity. Exercise can increase levels of norepinephrine and epinephrine, which can help with focus and energy. Even low-intensity exercise can be beneficial, as it can reduce cortisol and increase serotonin, which indirectly supports the balance of other neurotransmitters.
Power Naps: Consider taking a power nap after lunch. Research has found that a short nap of less than 30 minutes can increase circulating norepinephrine levels in the afternoon, which may enhance focus.
Sunlight Exposure: Get enough sunlight, as it helps with the production of Vitamin D, which is crucial for the synthesis of norepinephrine.
Increasing Histamine:
Balanced Diet: Histamine is a neurotransmitter that is also involved in immune responses and digestion. To support its production, focus on a balanced diet that includes histamine-rich foods such as fermented foods, but be cautious if you have histamine intolerance.
Healthy Gut: Maintain a healthy gut environment, as gut health can influence histamine levels. Probiotics and a diet rich in fiber can support a healthy gut microbiome.
General Tips for Neurotransmitter Health:
Stress Management: Practice stress-reducing techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, or yoga, as chronic stress can deplete neurotransmitter levels.
Adequate Sleep: Ensure you get enough quality sleep, as sleep is crucial for the regulation and replenishment of neurotransmitter stores.
Avoid Substance Abuse: Limit the intake of substances like alcohol and caffeine, which can disrupt neurotransmitter balance.
Consult with a Professional: Before making any significant changes to your lifestyle or diet, especially if you have a medical condition or are taking medication, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider.
Remember, neurotransmitter balance is a complex issue, and what works for one person may not work for another. It's important to approach changes holistically and under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Thanks 🙏🏾
Yeah I have insomnia for 5 years and anxiety. No medication. I’m afraid to take anything but I’m dying slowly I have low chromium and low iron and low zinc and manganese and copper and I was told I have adrenal fatigue and my cortisol was low in the morning. I’m exhausted she said I have leaky gut ! I took a test for everything but everytime I retake the test no improvement. I’m taking so many supplements to help but they don’t seem to work. It’s. Been a year and and my results are still low. I don’t know what else to do. I’m dragging to do my job at work and anxiety is killing me! Fight and flight mode all day.
