One thing I’ve learned watching Short Horror Films that deal with antique stores or second hand stores is-
NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE!

So, my assumption is based solely on the ending is that the demonic chair entity possessed the guy and he killed his wife and himself, now it passed to this alone woman and used their ghosts to haunt her/possess her into killing herself on the chair and cycle may continue onto next chair buying victim? Loved this, and honestly appreciated the scary demonic ending and not just ending on her getting killed, rather possessed. The pacing and timing on the scares was great too! The dead wife beckoning from the closet REALLY got me. Those kind of almost "absurd" interjections to a heavy jump scare can be so good!
I'm more concerned with the fact that she put one of her throw blankets over that without cleaning the chair first 😂

I'm simultaneously impressed that the main character was smart enough to call cops on the first scare & the cops didn't make the audience feel any safer. Beautiful touch
but she was dumb enough to not throw the chair on the street and choosing to keep it inside her house
This was not only amazing but very suspenful. The actress and the actor who played the perpetrator both did a great job great cast and crew the director also did a fantastic job take a bow everyone .

My favorite part was when the chair kicked the door open forcefully
it was pissed cuz she threw it it in the garage
My first thought when I saw that scene was thinking it was some evil spirit or poltergeist trying to haunt the house.
The door was kicked open yet she did not wake up
There was something hilarious about a chair kicking a door open and then just sitting there like "See? You're nothing throwing ME in the trash!"
This was the funniest and scariest one I've seen
Wowww. That was terrifying. That creepy guy standing in her kitchen when she opened her bedroom door in the middle of the night, did it for me. Freaky!

I usually look for horror short films under 20 minutes and yours did not disappoint! I am now a subscriber. Thank you to you and your crew/staff for making me looking behind me after a certain scene.
This terrified me which is not easy these days with a lot of the horror they put out. Well done everyone especially the two actors. Bravo.
It irritates me that short films like these are undervalued! The cinematography is incredible, as is the acting, sound design, music, and lighting; everything about it is of the highest calibre, and I am pleased to be a new subscriber. This short film is superior to most horror films available on streaming platforms or in theatres. There are no cheap jump scares here, only true atmospheric terror. These are the kinds of short films I wish I had shot and been a part of while studying Film Production at university. My only criticism would be the finale, which left me perplexed by what I think to be the story's philosophical message. As to what the message entails, I am unsure.

It's an attachment. If it's still attached to the chair, she'll be fine once she's rid of it and does a cleansing of herself and surroundings. If the entity decided to attach itself to her instead, she's screwed no matter where she goes😉.
This started off so well, and got better and better! The beginning camera shots were so unique! Very well thought out! 👻

What flabbergasted me was that (1.)
she didn't wipe it down and/or treat the wood (2.) that she bought this early-ish American Oak , complete with handcarving on the headrest area, and then stuck a throw over it so that what's charming about this 'newly-homed' piece isn't visible!
If she was going to do that, even a kitchen chair would have done as well! But then, I expect that this chair is a necessary 'plot device' & therefore needed! #Now I will go ahead and see what happens now that this chair is inside her house!

I think the best part horror wise for me was the part where the dead girls arm was waving her towards the closet and telling her to come hide with her. I would love to see more of that that shit scary. Like she goes in the closet and obviously the dead ghost woman fucks with her more. That’s be intense.

I am always interested in the horror genre, and your short film impressed me greatly. It had many aspects that I appreciated and admired. I have two major horror films in progress with some amazing directors, and I can see that you have a knack for creating and delivering horror stories.

I've never been a fan of horror, but this is quite cool - yeah, it used some generic things, but it was still incredibly cool. It had great cinematography and a really interesting story.

New subscriber! This one was spooky starting off with a sort of soft melody and then you notice the body and on the floor 😮
My brother lives in an old farmhouse (Australia) where a mother and daughter went missing (the husband/stepfather has taken off and for many obvious reasons, we all know he definitely murdered them. He ran a cult and was not a nice person at all). Their belongings are locked away in a bedroom seeing as they left everything behind. Plus he collects antiques. His cats are always reacting to unseen things and fleeting shadows that don't make sense are seen very often. Mum was staying there for a while and experienced a lot of weird phenomena. She saw, what she thought was, my brother walk down the hall but not even 30 secs later he walks out of a room up the other end of the hall. There's ZERO chance of him walking back passed without being seen plus he was wearing completely different clothes than what mum just saw him in. A LOT of unexplained and bizarre shit happens there.
If you're going to buy antiques and take them home, do a proper and thorough cleansing with sage while leaving all doors/windows open. Even if you're a non believer, it's best to play it safe.

To be honest, this may sound a bit superstitious, but I believe that objects absorb the energy of the environment they have been in, and that's why I always refuse to buy things from garage sales or thrift stores.

I love watching horror movies and my fiancee and I started watching short horror films on here since we usually don't have a lot of time due to a busy schedule. We are not easily scared.... but this one made my anxiety spike when the chair was at the bedroom door. Chefs kiss to this one. This one and Miner's Mountain are my favorites so far.
