There is limit on how much gold you can carry. For female, it’s gold worth of 1 lakh. If you want to carry more then you need to declare in the customs at the airport while leaving india so when you travel back you can show the customs declaration. I would highly recommend not to carry heavy gold to Germany... it’s not required. You hardly get an opportunity to wear them.

Hi Padmaja, thanks for your comment. I hope you saw the video completely. I said “this is not concrete information”. Baggage allowance have been changing always . Way back in 2012 it was always 1 and 2019 we traveled personally and we got 2. Looks like it’s again 1 now. There is nothing wrong and right andi.. am sharing my experiences only here.. please always check baggage allowance on your ticket for the allowance you are eligible. Hope this video was helpful to you 🙂

If it is cosmetic treatment, I don’t think insurance will cover.. but you can check yourself once you arrive here if it’s not something that’s bothering your health too much.

Valuable items always with you in the cabbin baggage or your hand bag.. you can wear gold on you and you can carry up to 1lakh worth gold.. if you are carrying more then that , better declare them in the customs in india while departure so you will not have problem when you travel back to india later with this gold.. I would suggest carrying less gold to Germany as you won’t have such occasions to wear them here.
