A way to (re)integration - Documentary Film

ITF Enhancing Human Security (ITF) initiated its socio-economic reintegration programme for mine victims in South Caucasus in the end of 2009. The leading donor to the programme has been the Austrian Development Cooperation through Austrian Development Agency.
The programme in essence consists of multi-phase and multi-country projects, which enable landmine victims and their families, as a vulnerable and marginalised group, to earn their livelihoods, improve their standard of living and become participatory members of their communities. Landmine victims are part of a wider population of persons with disabilities.
The programme applies a combined approach of providing non-financial and financial services to mine victims and their family members, enhancing the national institutional set in the field of mine victim assistance and disabilities as well as strengthening regional cooperation to facilitate the exchange of experience and expertise.
The documentary film presents a wonderful and enlightening insight into the lives of project beneficiaries.
